Ryu (9yr) POV:

I walked alongside Ichigo next to the river when I heard mom running before she hugged us... I saw the creature known as hollow swinging its claws to us but my pupils glow light blue before Kynee and Nox ripped it to shreds instantly before my eyes stopped glowing. Kynee and Nox who were my divine beasts faded into my soul after the threat was gone. I glance up witnessing a thread of glowing blue. I then said "Mom? It's getting cold. Can we go home?" Then Ichigo smiled as Masaki touched our cheeks after seeing the hollow was gone... Then she said "Of course." Then she glanced at the location were the hollow was before we headed home.

Ryu pov:

I was heading home from the convenience store when I felt Ichigo's presence began to fade causing me to disappear rapidly heading to his location before reaching him. My pupils glow before picking him up on my back while healing him slowly. I then heard ichigo tremble as he whispered "I wasn't strong enough..." Then I said "Ichi-" Then my pupils glow gold before we appeared in his room instantly. Ichigo then felt his wound healing as I said "Someone was heading our way." Then we talked about what happened before I said "You're sword is broken but you may be able to awaken your shikai or so I heard." Then the following few weeks I helped Ichigo train alongside the others.

I watched Chad swing his fist causing me to use Aikido causing his eyes to widen as he was sent mid air alongside Ichigo. Then Ichigo flip before rushing forth swinging his new shikai. I grabbed the handle of my sheathed sword before drawing it stopping Ichigo's attack before I said "is that all?" Then Ichigo's eyes glow light blue before his spiritual pressure got heavier. He jumped back before shouting, "Getsuga Tensho!" Then I swing my sword as aura like an ink brush flows out into a slash collided with Ichigo's. Ichigo felt shivers down his spine as he glanced to the side to see the slash mark on the ground was terrifying.

Then Ichigo froze when he saw I was panting slightly. He knew the cause of it was the curse of frost. Those born with the curse of frost mostly don't survive past the age of 5 due to they weakened bodies. The Curse of Frost would've killed me if it wasn't for me creating the ring of fire cultivation technique. The ring of fire is a breathing cultivation technique that neutralises the curse of frost. As time goes by. I'm breaking down the curse of frost and absorbing it due to its extreme cold qi. The Silver Moon and The Golden Sun...

I then sat down before cultivating to stabilise my condition.
