' welcome perseus. '
CHAPTER THREE.

I IMMEDIATELY SPOTTED the pair of them, they sat together on the opposite side of the newcomer. The three of them engaged in conversation as I approached them.

"Jadey." Chris grinned up at me. I watched as he shuffled his bowl of muck around with a spoon. Luke smiled softly and invited me to sit down next to the newcomer.

"Sorry we didn't get to meet earlier. I was in the infirmary." I met eyes with the newcomer, his eyes were a sea-green, just like Annabeth had said. She told me and Grover that ruled out the possibility of him being a child of Athena.

"This is Ilaria, she's in our cabin." Luke smiled, introducing the two of us. "Ria, this is Percy."

"Nice to meet you." The curly blonde reached out his hand for me to shake, and I took it gracefully. His hands were uncomfortably warm, as if he was nervous.
And I smiled. "Percy, like Perseus?" I asked him, but he just shrugged.

I took a seat next to him, and Chris filled me in on how their morning without me had gone.

"We're trying to figure out who Percy's Godly parent could be, we've tried mostly everything." Chris said, bluntly. Not minding how humiliated Percy looked.

"Is there a Greek God of disappointment?" Percy asked, looking around at all three of us for an answer. I stayed quiet, but Luke and Chris shared some sort of look.

"Maybe someone should ask him if he's missing a kid." He said, dejectedly. I frowned, I always felt sympathy when it came to unclaimed children.

Before I could express my sorrow, my brother in front of us interrupted with his unnecessary comment.

"Oizys." Chris shrugged. And Luke looked like as if he was going to murder him. I shot him a glare too, but that didn't make him stop talking.

"Chris." I hissed, but he continued.

"But she's a Goddess, and I don't think it's really disappointment." He continued to flick his food around. "More like, failure."

"She also doesn't have many offspring, so it's practically impossible for you to be claimed by her. She's not your parent." I reassure him, and he seems to ease slightly.

Luke smiles, rolling his eyes at Chris. He meets eyes with Percy again. "We're going to find the thing you're good at, I know it."

Chris scoffs, and I kick him under the table. He winces loudly and goes back to playing with his food.

"It'll be easy, now that we have Ria. She's good at everything." Luke looks over at me, and I glance over at Percy, who was already looking over at me.

"He's being generous, but I'm sure I can help." I put my hand on his shoulder and then look around.

I notice people starting to stand up, and so does Luke. "It's time!" I clap my hands. "I need to ask dad something." I sigh. That nightmare could've been a vision, and asking the Gods about it would be my best shot at figuring out what it meant.

"What do you need to ask?" Chris asked, and I just gave him one of my infamous 'I'll tell you later' looks. He nods and places his cutlery back on the table.
