Sheldon x Paige

Part 1

As Paige and her mother were leaving the Coopers home Sheldon ran to the door. "Paige wait." Which surprised everyone, even Mary. Sheldon placing a hand on Paige's shoulder and in a serious tone that her mother rarely heard. " if you ever feel upset or need someone to talk to, there'll always be a hot beverage here for you!"

"Thank you Sheldon." Paige responded and probably for the first time since she arrived, Sheldon saw a genuine smile from her, almost as if some light had returned. "You do realise that I'm probably going to become a better scientist then you now, right?

Sheldon not missing a beat. "I'm looking forward to it, may the best scientist win."

After Paige left Missy looked at her twin with confusion. "You didn't make a comment about how you're the best scientist. You had the perfect opportunity."

Sheldon took a breath. "That's not what she needs, she needs someone to care. Once she's got her spirit up, the sly comments will return." Unbeknownst to him Mary and George were smiling ear to ear. Sheldon was putting someone's needs before his own.

Paige wouldn't then return to my house for a while, I'd see her at college and our friendly rivalry would continue, but we'd have fun with it, we'd even team up together for group projects. But it wasn't meant to be.

"Sheldon." Missy screamed running into his room. "Paige just called she's been kicked out of her house by her mom, because she didn't like her new boyfriend."

"Tell dad to pick her up, I'll prepare the hot beverage." Sheldon responds dropping his task, Missy couldn't believe her eyes. To Sheldon nothing was more important than science.

As soon as Paige entered the house she saw Sheldon putting a cup on the table. "Is that a Hot Beverage?" She asked to which Sheldon nodded "your the best"

About 5 minutes later Mary came into the living room because to check in on the Sheldon and Paige and what she saw warmed her heart

"Soft Kitty, warm kitty
Little ball of fur
Happy kitty, Sleepy kitty
Purr, Purr, Purr"

Sheldon was singing Soft Kitty, then he was putting a blanket on the couch, once he made contact with her,clear as day he mouthed the words. "Paige is asleep, do not disturb her." Mary smiled. But what nether of them knew that Missy also saw this.

I didn't know until my dad's funeral that my mom told him what I did that day and that they were both proud of me, Paige was the only person of the opposite gender that I truly loved, until I met Amy of course. Dear lord I could go on about how much I love Amy.

About another 15 minutes there was a knock at the door, to which Sheldon answered, it was Georgie, Mandy and Baby Ceecee . "Hello Sheldon." Georgie said "how have you been, you smart S.O.B?"

"Could you please keep it down, Paige is asleep on the couch, and I really don't want to wake her." Sheldon said in a caring tone

"Well I'll be damned, I don't think I've ever heard you speak in such a caring tone." Georgie said then it hit him. "Holy shit you're in love with her!"

" Georgie language." Mary warned

"and no I'm not in love with her, she's had a bad day and she deserves a good rest." Sheldon said

"Who are you and what have you done with Sheldon Lee Cooper. You don't give a rats arse about anyone but yourself."

"George Copper. JR watch your language." Mary warned a bit louder

"Can everyone please, keep it quiet, I don't want Paige to wake up yet, she looks peaceful and happy." Sheldon said

"Also he sung Soft Kitty to her, I was watching from the hallway it was the cutest thing ever." Missy said

Just then everyone could hear something, Paige was mumbling. "No stop, please."

"What the hell." Sheldon said running to Paige's side. "Paige wake up, Paige it's just a nightmare." it wasn't working. "PAIGE!" Sheldon shouted, then Paige jumped up from where she was laying

"Sheldon your okay?" Paige said frantically. "I saw you die." Paige said which shocked everyone.

"Paige it sounds like you had a vvid dream." Sheldon said placing Paige's hand on his chest. "That's my heart beating, whatever you saw wasn't real." Sheldon spoke softly. "You can't get rid of me that easily."

"Could you hug me please. I know it's a big ask since you don't like." Paige couldn't finish her sentence as  Sheldon just rapped his arms around her

"We can stay like this for as long as you need." Sheldon said in the same soft voice that he has spoke with since she awoke

"He hates physical contact, what the heck is going on?" Georgie asked quietly

"Maybe you were right, maybe your brother is in love." Mandy replied.

Just then Sheldon and Paige got up and Sheldon in a half embrace took a glance at Paige and started taking her to his room, but then she collapsed into Sheldon's arms. "Could someone carry her into my room please." He asked, to which Georgie nodded picking up Paige bridal style and taking her into Sheldon's room with Sheldon following.
