Portal Demon

We got to the village soon after and started looking around for demons.

I heard a scream in the distance and my fucking ptsd happened. Unlike most ptsd, mine was apparently a very active one, by that I mean I ran as fast as I could while thinking about my family, and that that I needed to save them.

I got there what felt like years before Tanjiro did, only to realized it wasn't our family, it was a random boy sitting unharmed on the street.

"What happened?" I asked.

"My girlfriend, she was right there but now..."

"Any idea where she went?" I asked.

"No, it happened so fast I didn't even see."

"Hiroko! Wait up!" Tanjiro yelled as he ran towards me.

"Okay, I'm waiting." I said.

"Why did the kid scream?" He asked.

"His" alleged "girlfriend went missing." I said.

I gazed down at the boy only to see a black splotch moving towards us.

"Jump." I said.

"Wha-" 

"Just jump!"

They both did as told and demon hands appeared below us out of the black splotch. I grabbed my swords and stuck them straight down into the splotch. They hit the demon and split its head down the middle, making it have to come up to breathe.

I cut the demon's head off and that was that.

"Boom, fight over." I said.

"Hold on, I smell other ones." Tanjiro said.

"Uuuggghhh." I said and got into a fighting stance, ready for anything.

"Can you make out how many there are?" I asked.

"No." He said.

"Just gotta count the corpses then." I said and smirked as another black splotch appeared in front of us.

"Pretend you don't see it." I said.

"What? Why?" Tanjiro asked.

"It's not coming for you." I said and quickly got sucked into a different world by the demon.

The first thing I noticed what that it was really hard to breathe, not unlike the mountain Urokodaki's house is on. 

There were also two demons down there, that means two to kill.

I took something random and went back into the normal world, as expected, the demons were furious that I took something and popped out after me. They really weren't that smart, were they?

"And, attack!" I said and charged at them with my swords. Nezuko and Tanjiro fallowed me and tag-teamed one of them while I got the other. 

I did have to use my ash breathing on the demon, Tanjiro used his water breathing, and Nezuko used her adorability immobilizing. You know what I mean, when she's really cute and the demon is staring at her wondering what the hell is going on because she's a demon and they aren't supposed to be cute and then Tanjiro kills it.

"That was almost too easy." I said.

"Yeah, it was a lot easier than I thought." Tanjiro said.

"Guess that's why they sent base level slayers." I said.

It was easy, but I was covered in small bruises and scratches all over again. What better time to die my hair? I literally just took some grass and let it sit there, I washed it out and it was green. Simple.
