the kindest kiss-chapter 4

Lucy was so happy, Taylor had asked her for her hand in marriage and that was just so unbelievable. as they walked hand in hand down the beach Lucy kept looking down to her left hand where the ring was placed. A simple yet beautiful ring that she would forever cherish. The sun began to set and Lucy knew she had to leave and go back to her home where surely her brother was waiting for another chance to attack her, but she couldn't live at Taylor's forever, not till they were married anyway.

"Lucy are you okay?" Taylor was talking but being the day dreamer Lucy was she didnt hear a thign like normal and it took her a few seconds to snapped out of her trance and answer.

"I'm fine, just so happy" Lucy truly meant it, she was the world happiest girl.  

lucy walked through the back door of her house which she hoped would be unlocked so she could jsut run up the stairs and hide in her room until tomorrow and then figaur out a plan to not get beaten up again. so she turned the handle and luckily it opened and no one was there. Lucy thought to herself 'a mirriacle' but she knew that she would have to pass the kitchen to get to the staires at the back of the house, so she ran as quickly as she could. the lights blinded her when she found her room covered in them, her brother approched from behind the lights and said "you should have been back a week ago, where were you?" Lucy was afraid to answer so she kept quiet. "i said where were you!" cain shouted at Lucy.

"i was at taylors we are moving in together...."

"what?!" this one statement seems to infuriate cain and his face darked to a shade of red the was almost purple. Cain walked across the room towards  Lucy and put his hand around her throat and picked her up, Lucy coughed and spluttered at the decrese of oxygen. Cain tighten his grip and hastily said "you will never do that again, you understand?" Lucy noded her head and Cain dropped her to the floor, coughing and weazing.
