A solider wakes up every day to go to war. The battles bring out his worst side - a side that he's scared to admit. He truly believes its not him, but his actions say otherwise.
These battles do not take place on faraway beaches or overseas villages, but inside his head. His enemies aren't other soldiers, but rather his thoughts, desires, and insecurities.
A war can have many casualties, but his battles only have one. That one girl who deserved better, who couldn't understand why she had to pay the price. That one girl who wasn't perfect herself, but saw perfection in him.
Wars are bound to cause damage, they burn villages, cities and entire countries. Thousands pay the price, but for this solider, he had to pay it alone. He lost his world.
And that's the tragedy of this soldier. He tried so hard to win the battles in his mind, just to end up losing the war for his heart.
