"There are people who feel the world like a pulse beneath their skin. People who talk in metaphors and hear in memories. They're the quiet ones in the back of the room, gazing out the window, seeing things others can't, noticing details nobody else does. ????
INFJ here. Yeah, the "rarest" personality type, the one everyone calls a mystery. The "empath." But let's set a few things straight—being an INFJ isn't all deep thoughts and romantic vibes, alright? It's more like having the emotional range of a 20-season TV show but only letting people see a few episodes. We know more than we say, feel more than we show, and yeah...we probably see through you.
We're the type that'll be nice to your face, but internally? We're sizing up your whole personality, figuring out if you're worth trusting or if we need to keep you at arm's length. People think we're "so quiet," "so calm." That's because we're observing. Not everything needs a comment, okay? But trust me, we notice everything—from that half-hearted smile you just threw, to the tone in your "I'm fine." We can sense a lie like it's cologne, and no, we won't call it out every time; we're selective about our energy, thank you very much.
Oh, and yes, we do come with a bit of baggage. We feel the world so intensely that most people look like they're living in grayscale by comparison. And yeah, maybe we get sad, maybe we're moody or 'too intense'—whatever. But I'd rather feel everything than just skim through life on autopilot. INFJs are complex, we're a lot, and we know it. We're compassionate, stubborn , ambitious , loyal to a fault, and just a little dramatic. But would we trade it for anything else? Not a chance.
