Through the storm

Chapter 1- Moving on

Elisabeth sighed as her alarm blared wisking away the cloud of sleep she was trying to hold on to but life seems to hate her as she couldn't go back to that blissful dream or nightmare as her religious  mom states " your going to hell you sinful girl " she would always chant and throw some kind of oil on her saying it would wash away the devils demon's but Elisabeth knew her mom was insane and there's no changing it so it would be better to go live with her dad she hasn't seen in ten years. So she got up and started packing she had to hurry too before her weird mom came home and locked her in the house.............. six hours later and she's on the road  she did everything to keep her from falling asleep because she was tired, she sighed and her eyes widen as she saw the familar dirt road she used to run and play with her dog freckles .

Elisabeth parked her car in the drive way got out and took her things out the back in quick speed she couldn't wait to see her dad and her step mom she loved especially her baby sister lyiah .......so she ran up to the door and pound......... the door opened 2 seconds after she knocked and a beautiful lady stood on the threshold of her dads home Elisabeth squealed and huged her wonderful step mom Lisa, Lisa on the other hand was surprised yet happy that her wonderful step daughter that she held so dearly is back home

"What are you doing here, not that I'm not happy.....but?" Lisa questioned, Elisabeth put her hand across her heart in mock hurt and said " why I miss u too mom and you look so beautiful still and young, how old are you sixteen" Elisabeth joked " well I take it dad didn't tell you I'm tired of mom too I'm 21 and can't have a boyfriend or go out ....frustrating if you asked me" Elisabeth looked around and asked" where is that handsome dad of mine anyways" Lisa laughed and motioned her in " well he's in the kitchen fixing something that doesn't need fixing as always " they both laughed and went in the kitchen.

Elisabeth squeaked as she saw her dad....... the most important person in her life and jumped on him , Steve Elisabeth's dad chuckled and huged her just as tight " I missed you kiddo " Elisabeth groaned" dad I'm not a baby any more I'm a lady" she gestured a lady stands they all laughed. Elisabeth wondered where her little sister was then she heard giggles down the halls so she spined around but what she saw got her blushing and stuttering  out a "Dad, who's this?".........
