(Hey everyone! Just giving an emetophobia warning. Enjoy!)

The sun rose over Arcadian Citadel, lighting up the city with a breathtaking orange glow. A new day had come. And a new day meant...

"Just a caramel mocha, please."

The white demon stood at the counter at The Kelpie Cafe. Hands in the pockets of his jeans and scythe-like tail slightly swishing behind him. This was Obscura, one of the employees at TS Industries. This was how his mornings normally began. A quick coffee before getting yelled at by Tidalscar. At least he had something sweet to start his day.

"Coming right up! Can I get your name, Sir?"

"Obscura. Obscura Enoch."

The teifling behind the counter smiled and nodded, going off to make Obscura's coffee. The sweet smell soon hit the young demon, making him relax immediately. Quietly, he sauntered off to the side and slipped his phone out. Checking his notifications. Some from YouTube, some from Twitter, and some from Discord. Nothing new. Upon looking at the Discord notifications, most of it was just nonsense from his mates.

SeagentScotland: You all scare me...

SONOFASNAKE: Not our fault we're chaotic

Justalilguy: Should we be worried about Ob? He's been quiet lately

AllSeeingEyes: He's fiiiiine!

V-E-N-T: Yeah he'll be fine Dimensionus! Dw!

...He should say some-

"Caramel Mocha for Mr Echoch!"

Finally. Obscura quickly got his coffee, paid, and walked out. Taking a sip of that amazing liquid. God, coffee was god to him. What wasn't god? Work. Which he got to quicker than he'd like to.

"You're late. Again."

Tidalscar growled. Looking down at Obscura like he was the most insufferable creature to walk this earth. Quickly, he was put to work, after a scolding of course.

Thankfully, he actually had someone to interrogate today! A man named...Zahrab? That name sounded extremely familiar. When Obscura read the report left by Tidalscar, it stated that Zahrab was a Jinn found in the void dimension trying to get a simple hotel owner to commit vicious acts on humans.

"Bloody hell..."

Obscura entered the interrogation room with slight nervousness filling him up, only to be met by a very human figure in a red business suit and green hair. Their head hung low and only the Jinn's breathing could be heard in the large and echoey room.

The young demon sat down in front of the Jinn, who still hadn't looked up yet.

"Zahrab, am I correct?"

A slight nod from the Jinn.

"Right, let's get to it. Why are you here?"

No answer.

"...Hello? Answer please?"

Still nothing.

"Prick. Ok, it says here you tried to manipulate a hotel owner into doing bad stuff. Mind telling me why that is?"

"He needs to realize his power.."

"Uh..mind explaining?"

"With that angel cat running around..He needs to learn to protect his realm. Son and daughter."

Obscura was about to speak, only to yelp in shock when Tidalscar burst in. Looking like he was about to kill someone. The demon's hood was roughly grabbed as he was thrown out of the room. Head slamming against the wall. Everything momentarily went fuzzy as he heard screaming and yelling from inside the interrogation room. He went to get up, but his body wouldn't respond. All he could do was watch as blood splattered onto the door window. Yet it wasn't that that made Obscura scream..it was the sight of Tidal's glowing green eyes amongst the viscous red liquid. The screams of a woman filled his mind..a woman he once knew, but could barely recall who she was.

LET MY SON GO! PLEASE! ILL DO ANYTHING! HE'S ONLY 5!

"Who are you..?"

Obscura's heart began to hammer against his chest at the speed of a bullet train. Breathing picking up as he began to panic, yet he didn't know why.

"GET AWAY FROM ME! MONSTER!"

Tidalscar slowly stepped out of the room. Face covered in blood as he towered over the panicking demon. His cold, unfeeling gaze making them panic more as blood dripped off of him like the aftermath of rain. Dropping down onto the already crimson-stained floor. Obscura could only scream and plead for the hybrid to leave. The stench of the dead Jinn making him want to vomit. Everything was getting to his head. His body uncontrollably shaking for reasons he couldn't explain, the red smears on his hands from here he touched the floor, the sight of the tainted boots of what might as well have been Ares himself; ready to gut him alive.

"Get up, you imbecile. Tell Terry to clear out the body."

With that, Tidal walked off to his office. The ear-splitting sound of his phone ringing making him almost clutch his ears. He quickly swiped it off the desk and answered with a gruff and shaky "Hello?", only to be met with the voice of his supervisor, Shackles. Telling him the date of the next Amate Market, and how he expected Tidalscar to have 'the goods'. That goods being whatever human, animal, demon or god he could get over there. Thankfully he had them, and Shackles was told this. Explaining how he had a few Koriah he was going to sell along with some humans he had kidnapped. When he was about to mention the fact he even kidnapped a Konriak, he was cut off. Shackles commented on how shaky his voice sounded and asked if he was alright. Tidal only responded with, "I'm fine. Just tired."  To try and shut the conversation down. He didn't need this right now. Not with what he had gotten from that blasted Jinn.

Shackles went to ask again, but Tidal hung up. Throwing the phone into his drawer and slipping out a small bottle of Vodka. Shoving the liquid saviour down his throat.

"...I..I can't.."

Was all he managed to get out before a sudden feeling of nausea came over him. Ripping his mask off, Tidal grabbed the bin. A barrage of red and black sticky liquid came out all at once.

"Damn..Zahrab.."

He panted, knowing he was stupid for trying to kill a Jinn. Especially when he knew this one would inflict one of his worst fears. Tidal quickly clamped a hand over his mouth, trying to ignore how his stomach turned and twisted, trying to ignore the burning of his lungs and the chills going up his spine. It needed out, but Tidal wouldn't let it out. He can't be sick. Not now..however, the liquid was already seeping in between his fingers. No no no..don't let me be sick..oh Chronomias no..

Nothing could hold it back. The dam broke. Another lot of liquid came out of them. The hybrid's body felt weak. He could barely keep himself up as he slowly fell onto the cold floor. Eyes drooping shut. MY MASK! I CANT LET—...

Consciousness left him. Tidalscar had fainted in his office. Leaving a very confused Zero outside as she waited for her boss, and father, to answer her.

"Dammit dad. Answer the door!"
