Chapter 26: Hypnosis

Week 7 Monday
Glitter's POV
Camp was wild last week. I almost want to do it all over again this week. At school it's pretty normal. But I want more excitement. "Alright, what's the plan today?" Amber asks us. Aina looks so mad. "Aina, you good?" Delilah asks her. "Revenge." Is all she says. "On who?" I ask. "Nova. But not Nova. One of her friends can pay for Nova's actions." She said. "I like your thinking." Amber smirked. "Flossie, Frankie, Gypsy or Maggie?" Delilah asked. Who the hee haw is Maggie. I forgot. "How do you remember all of them?" I say to Delilah. She shrugs. "They rhyme." Layla said. True. I'm sure one's called Lassie, or is it? Eh I don't know. "I'm thinking Frankie. Not Gypsy or Flossie. They replaced me with Frankie. I left them at the beginning of term 2, then they got a new friend in their group this year in term 1." Very delayed replacement, I would say. "So what's the plan?" Amber asks. "Humiliation Game?" Delilah suggests. "Great idea." I reply. At recess we go outside and gather some mud in a bucket. It rained this morning. "This is disgusting." Layla jerked. "Thats why we're dumping it all on Frankie." Aina said to her. "I think that's good." Amber said peering into the bucket. We hide it in the bushes ready for lunch and hurry back inside. Luckily we used a good excuse to go outside. At lunch we go out. We spot the friends sitting under a tree. There was a branch that was really low down on the other side they were sitting against. We just have to be quiet as a mouse. Once we were all climbed up, we got positioned. "Layla!" Delilah hissed at her to get in. Layla quickly held the bucket too. Flossie then looked up. "What the?!" Next thing you know, Gypsy looked up and saw too. "MOVE!" She yelled. We just couldn't get a little on Gypsy otherwise the alliance is broken. The one with Bailey. They all ran out but we got enough time to dump it all on Frankie. She stood there like a mud monster. We all got down. Everyone saw and gathered around. "OOPS!" We all said at the same time. "This is-" Frankie had no words, speechless, HA! "You all are so horrible!" Maggie said to us. We got death stares from the all of them. "See you later suckers!" I said. The five of us then walked off. Our dogs caught up to us. "Where were you guys? We were looking for you!" Butkus said. "Over there." Layla pointed to the tree. "Yeah we know that now." Duke said. "Quit the attitude. Let's walk." Aina said. "Yes ma'am." Kane said. "This is why I should be the leader." Thor muttered not so quietly. Like who does he think he is? He talked to our enemies voluntarily! Duke was our original leader, somehow Thor became our leader when Duke left. But when Thor talked to the enemy he was demoted and Chief was the leader. Then Chief left for St. creeks. What a dumb decision. He's now 'nice'. What a fake. But now Duke is our leader again. "Maybe you should have been responsible." Amber muttered back. "Yeah, THOR." Butkus said. "Shut up Butkus. Keep walking." Delilah snapped at him. Suddenly I turned around for a second and I see one of my owners running towards me. Angelo? What is he doing here? "GLITTER!" He said puffed as he stopped at me. "Glitter, is this one of your owners?" Layla asked me. I nodded. "Take this please." He held a small little tube of a green liquid. "What is that?" Aina asked me. I shrugged. How should I know? "Is that poison?" Duke inquired. I was quite reluctant to take the liquid. What if it was dangerous? "C'mon Glitter, take it." He said calmly. I stepped back. I didn't trust it. "Don't trust me?" He asked. I looked at the ground. I trusted him, not the liquid. "Where's your science teacher?" My friends and I went inside and led him to the science classroom and lab where the teacher was. "Hello students! And human." He greeted. Angelo looked puzzled. He couldn't understand the teacher. "My owner Angelo is  trying to give me the tube of liquid. I don't know what it is though. Could you please identify it?" I asked him. He nodded. Angelo handed him the tube. The teacher took a couple of drops out and ran it through some machine. He got the results faster than we all thought. "This is a liquid to keep a hypnosis practice running." What the hee haw is a hypnosis practice. Like what even is hypnosis?! "So is it safe for me to take or what?" I asked. "Well it's completely safe but it'll keep you hypnotized because most likely you're about to have it all lost." Hypnotized? I've been hypnotized? How? Why? How come I don't know this? "You want an explanation don't you?" Angelo asked me. I nodded my head. "You see, Glitter, I was trying out hypnosis and I wanted to try it on an animal to see if it'd work. I went out one day in hopes to capture a stray. I found you in an alleyway. I decided you'd be my lucky practice test. I hypnotized you into thinking I'm looking after you, you're the lost cat of Donald Trump and I made you be dumb and kind of mean." I'm not dumb! But how am I not the lost cat of Donald Trump? Am I actually not mean? "I'm sorry Glitter for lying." Angelo apologized. I don't care though I'm not mad at him. I'm grateful actually. If that's even a real word. But I'm not taking the liquid. "So will you take the liquid?" He asked me. I shook my head. He sighed. "Fair enough." I smiled at him and ran to him to swing me in the air. As he let me down my friends and dogs looked at me. "Does that mean you're leaving us now?" Amber asked me. "Yeah considering you don't want to stay hypnotized." Delilah said. Why should I want to leave them? Of course I want to stay! I like my popularity. "Of course not! This is my personality now. Whatever it used to be is just stupid. Let's go." I said bye to Angelo and we walked out. "You don't care you've been hypnotized at all?" Layla asked me. "Nah. I'm happy to be honest." I said to her.
