Today was the day Hailey returned back to working life. She would definitely miss the cabin. Her solace. She was going to New York once more to start her recording and doing interviews. She sipped her strawberry banana and orange smoothie that had a shot of energy booster in it as she entered the recording studio.
She noticed her manager was with the social media assistant. Hailey raised an eyebrow at the two. "We are going to be posting that new music is once again being created for you social medias. So, you just do your own thing, ignore us, and we will be handling everything. But don't worry, we will make sure you know what we are saying in the posts before posting them."
Hailey nodded, she knew the deal.
Hailey greeted everyone and then got to work, explaining everything she would like for the new songs, even going to help with making things. Sitting at the booth and listening as things happen in the box, giving advice.
She knew this was going to be a long week worth of work. It's crazy to think about how long it takes to make new songs and record it all for an album. No one really understands it, until they have to do it.
When she felt she liked the music for the one song, she joined them in the recording booth to sing the song. Singing the song she was making for an epic breakup/over you song. She felt this would be a hit with the girls who were fans. Or hell the gays. Or fuck it. It's a song for everyone who dated or was affiliated with someone who was a lying person and/or cheater.
Hailey walked out, and frowned seeing her manager, Annie, was frowning. So was David, Andy, her parents, and the social media advisor Olivia.
"What is it?" She asked, crossing her arms.
"The entire recording time is being extended. You are really booked. So, you have to take time away from recording. Interviews, photoshoots, charity work. Things like that." Annie explained. Haliey frowned more and rubbed her forehead.
"Are you serious?" She asked groaning.
"I was trying to explain that you prefer recording the week you come back from your break. As everything is fresh in your mind. But..." David started, and Annie finished. "But, this is how things have to be this time Hails."
David and Andy went over to comfort her.
"Theres no way to push things back till I finish in around a week?" Hailey asked. Annie shook her head. "I've already pushed things since you took a longer break. I've pushed all that I could push and then some. Plus. You went on that break a day after a public breakup. People want to hear from you. They want to see you."
"And we can't disappoint the fans. Give them what they want. Give them teasers of music and other things as well. It'll be a fun time. And Annie will make it that when you go to the studio you are there all day." Hailey's mother said. "But not too late as you need your sleep." Andy told her.
Hailey sighed and nodded. "Do I have any more time to work?" She asked. Annie looked at her. "It's best if you work some more, but you need to go back home and be ready for the two tv interviews you have tomorrow." Annie told her.
Hailey groaned again. "Let's go home. I want sushi and other things." She told David and Andy. The two friends grinned at each other before following the celebrity out to her awaiting car. Sometimes fame sucked. But she liked the outcome.
