Toxic Trades :the Begging Hurts

6 1 1

It all started good, then perfect, now this!

"Two weeks of laughter, just us two,
Bonding deep, a friendship true.
Then came the cousin, a surprise to share,
A trio formed, with secrets to spare.

Lies crept in, like shadows in the night,
Poisoning trust, and our bond's light.
I'm caught between, two family ties,
A outsider's pain, with no goodbyes.

Their cousinly love, now turned awry,
Deceit and doubt, in every sigh.
I search for truth, but it's hard to find,
Among the web of lies, they've left behind.

My heart aches, as I pen this line,
A friendship fractured, by family vines.
Their blood bond strong, but ours did too,
Now shattered trust, and tears anew.

Who spoke the lie? I still don't know,
The culprit hides, as our bond slows.
Two cousins, tangled in a deceitful dance,
Leaving me with a broken, loving chance.

In this trio, I'm the odd one out,
A friend, no family ties to devout.
My love was pure, my trust complete,
But lies have shattered our friendship sweet.

I write these words, through tears and pain,
Hoping truth will surface, and love remain.
For in the end, that's all we need,
True friendship, free from deceit's dark seed."
