Eternal Love

Lucy...

*FLASHBACK*
The strongest team in Fairy Tail were on a mission. They had to take out this group of bandits for the mayor of the city. Erza decided that they should split up so they could find the bandits. Natsu and Lucy were paired up. So that left Erza and Gray. Natsu and Lucy went to the west side of town. Erza and Gray headed east.
Natsu and Lucy found the bandits first. "Fire dragon iron fist!" Natsu yelled. He took out the bandits that stood in front of him. "Open gate of the golden bull! Taurus!" Lucy said. "Moo! Woah Lucy you've got one smoking hot body!" Taurus yelled. "Ugh just take out the bandits already!" she said. "If I do that do I get a smooch?" Taurus asked hopefully. "I might think about it" said Lucy.
Taurus then slammed his ax into the ground causing the ground to shake as a rift appeared in the dirt. He took out half of the bandits before he was badly wounded. "I'm gonna go Miss Lucy. Catch ya later." Taurus said.
Lucy looked at the remaining bandits knowing that she would need to call on a another spirit. "Open gate of the lion! Loke!" Lucy yelled. "Hey beautiful did you miss me?" Loke said. "Loke! I need help taking out these bandits!" she said. "No problem" he replied. "Regulas impact!" Loke said.
Lucy took out her whip and started to fight some more bandits. Lucy was almost finished taking them out when one of them snuck up on her. He stabbed her with his knife. He ran off knowing that she was down.
"Lucy!" Loke yelled. He quickly finished off the bandits and picked her up bridal style. He ran towards Natsu knowing he would want to know what happened.

Natsu was done beating up his share of bandits when Loke came uo to him carrying Lucy. He smelled her blood in the air. Loke carefully set her down in front of Natsu. "I have to go back to the celestial world. You need to help Lucy." And with that Loke vanished.
"Luce..." Natsu said as he looked at her. She was covered in her own blood just barely holding onto life. "Natsu..." she said her voice sounding fragile. "W-Who did this to you?" Natsu asked her. "One.. of the bandits..snuck up on me..he stabbed me..and then he..ran away." She said grimacing in pain. "Luce just hang on. You need to live!" He yelled. His eyes started to water up. "Natsu.." Lucy said. "Please don't cry..I don't like to see you cry."
"Hey." She said. "I want you to know something." "What?" he said. "I love you." She said to him. And with the last of her strength she kissed him.
She broke away smiling. She then let out her last breath and closed her eyes. The last thing she heard was. No don't go please! I love you too!
Then everything went black.
*END OF FLASHBACK*
Natsu returned to Erza and Gray holding Lucy in his arms. He told them what had happened. They both looked at him in disbelief. "No.." Erza said. "It can't be.. Lucy!" She yelled. Erza started to cry. Natsu and Gray started to cry too. They all sobbed at the terrible news.
Team Natsu decided to take her back to Magnolia so everyone could see her one last time.

As they walked into the guild everyone knew something was wrong. "Where's Lucy?" Mira asked them. "She's dead." Nastu said. "Lucy is dead!" He screamed not holding anything back.
Levy then burst into tears. The rest of the guild started to cry as well. "Love-rival is dead?" Juvia said. She sobbed over the loss of Lucy. Gray walked over to her and comforted her.
"We brought her body back with us so you could see her one last time." Erza said with sadness in her voice. Master Makarov walked over to Erza and Natsu. "This is a great loss for Fairy Tail. We shall have a service three days from now. Someone needs to help Lucy get ready." The master then turned around to face the rest of the guild.
"Does anyone want to help Lucy get ready for her service?" Makarov asked. Levy raised her hand and yelled "I know what my best friend would want to wear! I will go." She started to sob again. Natsu muttered to the master that he would like to help her get ready.

They brought Lucy's body to the guild an hour later. Her body was taken up to the infirmary. Levy and Natsu headed towards Lucy's house to grab a few things. Levy walked over to her closet and picked out her favorite outfit.
Natsu went and got her perfume. The thing that made Lucy smell like strawberries and vanilla. Natsu could never forget her lovely scent.

Today was the day of the service. Every member of Fairy Tail was there. Even Laxus. Every one cried over the celestial mage. Levy was weeping in Gajeels arms.
The master then started speaking. "Lucy Heartfilia was an amazing young lady. She helped us when we needed it most. She saved our friend Loke from dying. She has cried with us. Laughed with us. Fought with us. She has been a great friend as was as an amazing family member."
Erza was next to say something. Then Gray, and then Natsu. After they all said something about Lucy people started to leave. One hour after the service there were still three people there. Natsu, Erza, and Gray.
Gray was the first to leave, then Erza. Natsu had some alone time with his beloved. "Luce." he said in a low husky voice. "I just can't believe you're gone. I wanted to go on so many more adventures with you."
Natsu dropped to his knees and scooted closer to the grave. "You know I love you right? And you know that it hurt. Watching you die in my arms. I wish I could've saved you." Natsu felt really tired. He moved even closer to her stone. Natsu hugged her grave saying "I love you." over and over again. He was slowly falling asleep right next to her. And he swore he heard. "I love you too. Just know that now I can always be with you. And that our love is eternal."
