The Doll

Chapter 1:

It was quiet—really quiet— in the house, it was like it was holding its breath, the air was thick, so quiet I'm pretty sure I could hear their heartbeat, my mom was at work, my dad was drinking as always, but, something was different.

My dad went outside to buy his own alcohol... he didn't ask me to go buy it for him like he usually does..., he hasn't yelled at me since last week I could stand in front of him and he won't even look at me I think that's because I didn't mean anything to him. My mom will come back from work and doesn't even try to create an excuse for why she was late like she usually do. They don't argue a lot anymore like they used to. Strange.

I was wandering and looking around the house, though I rarely left my room because, if I show my face my dad would probably beat the shit out of me for no reason or just send me to buy him more bottle. And this morning I checked the date and It was..., my Birthday I've never celebrated my birthday and I never got any presents my mom would always forgot.

Then I went to my room and lay on my bed for a second I felt like I was sinking into the mattress, Trying to make sense of the silence, and the at the very corner of my eye I saw something.

A Doll?

We looked almost the same, same red and white strip shirt, and

blue jeans.

At this moment I had so many question in my head, Why does it look like me?, Where does it come from?, How can it stand by itself?, Whyis it even here In first place?, Why is it Here? Is this a dream ? , so many question but no answers.

As I stared I it for 2 minutes, or so It smiled at me that's when I really freaked out, and I knew there was something wrong.

I turned my head and closed eyes, for a minute then turned back on open my eyes, it was still there I don't what I was hoping for, for it to disappear like poof- voila. But I was just hope.

"Hi"

Don't tell me you talk that's even worse. "End of chapter one"
