SYNOPSIS! ❛ ransom was a kook in every sense but the attitude, he was the only full-fledged kook the pogues cared about. he was the golden boy who took everyone's feelings seriously and aimed to help anyone who needed it. but he felt broken, his mind and body wouldn't sync with one another and it frustrated the man. he wanted to have sex, truly he did, but every time he tried he grew nauseous or panicked. he assumed he would be forever alone, until he met colt who claimed he didn't mind and the two started to date not long after.
his boyfriend, however, was not a nice man. when he was with ransom he was the perfect boyfriend but when he didn't have him around he harassed those deemed lesser than him. he was so bad that even rafe and topper didn't vibe with him, but for seemingly different reasons. of course, no one ever told ransom for fear they would gain colt's wrath and violence. but ransom started to see the signs when colt began to get aggressive when he turned him down for sex, always resorting to calling ransom cruel names and following it up by apologizing. ransom's self esteem started to plummet with each harsh word uttered to him be someone meant to love him.
rafe cameron has been in love with ransom for three years, he was the exception to his otherwise straight sexuality and most of the time had to fight the urge to shoot colt dead. he usually circled the same parties with ransom and had spoken to him a few times but despite sofia urging him to confess to the other guy he decided to avoid the subject altogether. that is until he found ransom crying and getting drunk, when he was told about what colt had done he wanted to kill him. but instead, he suggested fake dating to get back at the prick, ransom never even had to know that he was in love with him. ❜
