The next morning . Miss Peregrine decided to tell the children the news... as expected, the younger kids cried, and the older kids wanted to go with Brandy, which Miss Peregrine kindly declined... after breakfast , the girls decided to help Brandy pack her suitcase, while the boys played with Enoch and his dead creatures... All the children said their goodbyes and waited inside for the bird to arrive to take Brandy away...
Miss Peregrine and Brandy stood waiting out on the lawn for the stymph...
Miss Peregrine, although she stood proud of Brandy, would deeply miss her.
"I'm going to miss it here... the children and all...thank you again for all that you've done for me..." Brandy spoke..
Miss Peregrine wrapped her arm around Brandy's shoulder. "My sweet child. I know you are more than ready for this journey. But do please visit us again one day!" The bird spoke.
"I promise Miss P!" Brandy said her eyes watering. She wiped her eyes with her arm covered glove...
The ladies heard a screech in the distance, signaling the Stymph was approaching...
Miss Peregrine wanting to make an exceptional first impression, stool tall and straitened her jacket.
The rest of the children stood inside with their eyes glued to the window watching all of this happen... like baby owls huddled together in a nest...
They watched as the gigantic stymph gently landed on the grass and shook itself off...
Enoch being the most arrogant had an idea in mind..
"I'll give anyone my entire life savings if they get that birds heart. If they give me that bird's corpse I'll double the savings!!!" He said to the group.
"Enoch you have plenty of hearts right now!" Hugh said.
"Leave that poor bird alone you big meanie!" Claire spoke with pleading eyes!!!
"You idiots can go suck an eggplant!" Fiona said.
"Quiet all of you!" Emma spoke. The children shushed and watched the bird outside...
The Stymph saw Miss Peregrine and nodded politely. It lowered itself to the ground and laid down, tucking its bony wings against its body...
Brandy was hesitant to approach the big bird. It was quite intimidating: it was massive, didn't have feathers( but it could still fly!) and it was made completely out of bones, and branches...
Miss Peregrine approached the bird and placed her hand on the bird's forehead. She turned to Brandy and smiled...
"It's alright! He won't hurt you! Unless you give him a reason to..." Miss P joked... Brandy slowly approached the bird and touched its head the bird felt strong and powerful but almost human like. Strange.
Miss P took out her pocket watch and checked the time.
"Right then. Don't want to be late." The peregrine lady said. She helped Brandy up onto the stymph's bony back and got her comfortable.Brandy's heart was racing as this was all very new to her. She felt as if she was on top of a fire breathing dragon.
Miss P helped the bird onto its feet. Her eyes started watering, as she watched a smile appear onto Brandy's face...
"Take care of my child . I wish you well! " Miss P whispered into the Bird's ear hole.
"I love you with all of my heart Brandy!" She said as the bird grabbed Brandy's suitcase with its talons and flew into the air.....

A/n: I imagined the stymph coming into land on the yard from the children's home... yes I read the Series and I love it!!! The movie was ok in my opinion... Eva Green is like so freakin awesome!!! I love her, but I love Charlize Theron I tiny bit more!!! I heard Eva Green is doing a new movie called "White Angels" . It's like she's a soldier and stuff ; kinda the Old Guard vibes !!! Anyways I'm finished rambling!!!
