Part title

Loud cheers are now deafening Bora and the lights slightly blinding her as she scans the fully packed arena. She's having this unfamiliar feeling that she didn't know how to explain. She's experiencing a lot of first times even though she's been playing on the court for almost a year now. She still can't believe how she ended up being here at the first place.

It's almost done Gahyun! I can't wait for it to be done! she said in her head.

I'm going to miss this though. The atmosphere, the crowd, the team, and.. I can't believe I'm saying this, I'm gonna miss playing volleyball. I never thought that I'm beginning to love this. She added.

Little did she know that's not the only thing she's going to fall in love with.

"Kim Bora!! I need you to focus!!" she heard a hoarse voice shouting her name and looks for the person who's yelling while the referee whistles. Before she even know the person who called her, she felt a strong blow on her face coming from the opposite team's service.

"Ouch." the only word Bora can utter while still hears nothing but the loud cheers. Because of the adrenaline rush, the facial she got didn't hurt a little. She only feels how hard her heart pounds that she thinks maybe her body may burst any minute now.

"Excellent receive Bora." a deep teasing voice interrupts her own messy thought as the ball indeed comes perfectly to her spot. "Not bad for a dumbass like you." she laughs while looking at the ball in mid air and positions herself to set.

The facial she got was good enough to stop Bora at imagining things while on the court and started to focus. She shakes herself and does some jumps to lose out a bit and position herself to cover.

"Shut the fuck up you mo—"

"Yubin! Give it to me!" before Bora finishes rebutting Yubin, she now heard another low but raspy voice desperately asking Yubin to give her the ball as she was already preparing to give her full swing. With the voice being so familiar, she already knew who's asking for the set but the tone she heard was new so she followed where the voice came from and saw her cold eyes burning with passion and desperation.

"Let's goooo!!"

"Go Dreamies!!"

"Boo!!"

The crowd was in complete chaos. The spike was undeniably perfect. From her approach, Bora can see that she's loving the set that Yubin gave her, she didn't adjust from mid air and just gave her full strength to attack that breaks the three blockers in front of her and the ball was out of bounds. She can see Yubin grinning being proud to her perfect set. Then Bora caught one of the blockers stroking her arm because of how powerful that hit was executed.

"And Lee Siyeon gets the lead once again to Dreamcatcher University after their 6th dead lock in this set! 19-18! The alpha wolf is also making a history for herself!" announcer 1 said. The audience roared that wraps the whole arena once again. She glanced at Siyeon one more time and only saw a blank expression specially after hearing the praise and from what the announcer called her.

They're now all gathered in the middle doing high fives, cheers, and patting each other. Then Bora accidentally patted Siyeon's butt instead of Gahyun because her sister move towards Yubin to pat her head.

Oops! Oh no. Bora panics. She quickly move away to get back to her position and saw Siyeon froze for a second in her peripheral.

I have to act normal. Curse you Gahyun! She adds. Even though she didn't look directly at Siyeon and already got back to her spot in speed, she still sensed some death glares. Let's move on, I need to focus. She fix her knee and shoulder pads because she can still feel the glares.
