~real life (vera pov)~

As I get off of the plane I feel an instant feeling of nervousness. The only things that I have in New Jersey are an apartment, which I have to say is very nice, a job, and my luggage. I need a car still so I have to call an uber to get to my apartment.

I order the uber as im waiting for my luggage to come out. Vieana is still waiting next to me and we are just making small talk until she mentions relationships. "Do you have a boyfriend?" Vie asks me with a smirky look. "I do not have one but I have also never looked for one, to be honest I have always thought men were a waste of time." I reply with a laugh at the end. "Ohhhh I totally get that." She says back "What about you Vie do you have a boyfriend ?" I ask in the same way she did. "I do actually thats why I am coming out here." Vieana says. "Oh really I am coming out to be a photographer for the Devils" I say proudly. "No way! Thats who Daws plays for." She says smiling. "Well it looks like I will be seeing you a lot then!" I say as the luggage starts to come out. She gathers her luggage and pulls me into a hug, "See you soon Vera, text me if you need anything!" She says pulling away from the hug. "I will bye Vie!" I say. I get my luggage and leave, perfect my uber just got here.

"Bye thanks for the ride!" I say as I exit the Uber. I gather my things out of her car and start walking up to the lobby of my apartment. "Hi! I am getting my keys for apartment 7B, I just moved here" I say as she checks me in and asks for my ID so I hand her it. "Alright here are your keys just sign these papers for me and you are good to go!" I sign the papers and then grab my keys then head up to my room.

I open my door and then I shut and lock it then immediately flop onto my new bed. It is super comfortable. I call my dad and brother to tell them that I made it here safely and just talk to them. I then text my girls group chat to tell them the same thing. I decide to unpack because I wont have time due to me starting work tomorrow morning. It's been a long day so I just order a small pizza from a website I found online. The pizza comes like 30 minutes later and let me just say it has to be the best pizza ever. I got my vanity built and everything put away and then I put my clothes away. I then take my shower stuff to the bathroom and hop in the shower. After showering and brushing my hair and teeth I head to bed to prepare for a busy day tomorrow.
