The Struggles Of College

The alarm went off. It was that default Samsung ringtone that everyone gets annoyed by. I slowly sat up. I grabbed my phone off the floor and dismissed it. My hair was a complete mess. I always hated my look in the morning since I was one of those 'ugly morning lookers' but there is nothing I can do about it. Its my first day of college. It still didn't seem real that I was going to a new place that will help me to understand new things. I had chosen art to focus on. I'm surprised they accepted me because my art.. isn't as good. But maybe they saw something? I got out of bed and I put my phone on my table. I headed to the bathroom and picked up my pink toothbrush and toothpaste. I placed the liquid on the toothbrush and started to brush. After two minutes I was done. I then spat out the toothpaste and blood was dripping. I was used to this since my gums had always been sensitive but it's lucky it doesn't hurt. I washed my toothbrush and placed it in the pot. I then washed my face. After I was done I dried my face with my towel. I then walked out and back into my bedroom. I grabbed my clothes that I was going to wear. It was a blue dress with white flowers, a white cardigan and some white tights. I then put them on quickly since I had half an hour to do what I needed to do. I then finished putting on my clothes and went to grab my brush off my table. Luckily I had straightened my hair last night so it will be sort of straightened. I then brushed through my hair until it looked nice. I then grabbed my fluffy white headband and placed it on my head. I then grabbed my bag. It already contained my laptop, my headphones, my pencil case and my book. I had already prepared the night before. My alarm went off. It was time to go. I grabbed my phone and switched off the alarm. I then walked downstairs and put on my white shoes. I tied the laces and then walked out of the door. I slowly shut the door so I wouldn't wake up my family since I need to be at college early. I walked to the library and waited at the bus stop. I scrolled on tik tok on my phone as I waited. It was quite cold while standing at the bus stop. I heard someone walking but I didn't bother to look becauseits not like i know them. I heard them stand next to me so then I had to look who was next to me. I saw it was a tall boy. He had fluffy black hair and cross earrings. He was dressed in a grunge style. He looked around my age, and also looked exactly like an emo. He then looked at me. Our eyes met. "What?" The boy spoke. I quickly looked away in embarrassment. I continued to scroll until I heard the bus approaching. It was the one I needed to get on. I then waited in line to get on the bus. I was hoping the emo wouldn't go on the same bus as me. But I wasn't sure. I then walked onto the bus and pressed my phone on the scanner to read the ticket. The bus was almost full, mostly of teenagers and elderly people. Luckily the back row was completely empty. I then walked over to the back and sat down. I grabbed my headphones from my bag and put them on. I looked at the front of the bus and noticed the emo was walking to the back row where I was sitting. He then sat at the other end. I kept staring hoping he wasn't going to the same college because he is intimidating. He glaced at me again. He raised an eyebrow at me. "Why do you keep looking at me? I'm not a ghost." He spoke once again. I then slowly looked away. This was too awkward but it is my fault that I stare. I think it's a problem I have with staring. I don't mean to do it. "Sorry.. I can't help it.." I mumbled. I hoped he heard me so I waited if he would respond. "Fair enough. Do you fancy me or something?" Those words made my mouth drop. I quickly looked at him. "No? Why would I? It's a problem I have. I tend to stare at someone way longer than I should. I'm only apol-" I got cut off by him, "Okay I understand. But just cut it out. Its freaky." He spoke. "I nodded and then looked out of the window. The bus was driving on the busy road which goes to town.
