I don't want to brag or anything, but I'm a pretty great dancer. Then I saw Mackenzie, Jessica, Courtney, Elle and JoJo at the pep rally, dancing to a Jessie J song that I didn't know until I Shazamed it. The name of the song was Burnin' Up, which fit them perfectly because they were straight fire. I didn't even know what straight fire meant until I searched it on Urban Dictionary.

I've always aspired to be like them. They were the queens of the twelfth grade. Guys wanted to be with them, girls wanted to be them.

The thunderous applaud brought me out of my thoughts. I couldn't help the wide smile that spread across my face as I saw the five girls take a bow, along with the other members of the Breckenridge High School Dance Company.

I saw five males run onto the fields from the sidelines and embrace their girlfriends on the field.

Mackenzie Bowman was by far the most talented girl living in Idaho. She was the captain of the dance company and dating the school's quarterback, Aidan Matthews. Aidan Matthews was the guy version of Mackenzie. He was a star on the field and off the field. He led the team into countless wins and has every girl at Breckenridge High head over heels for him.

Jessica Hope's name basically said everything about her. She was by far the kindest of the group and had the most friends outside of the company. Her boyfriend was a different story. Nick Simmons was the definition of a player. Well, was, the definition of a player. Before Jessica, breaking girls hearts was all he had time for. That, and lacrosse. No commitment, no relationship, just heartbreak-and lacrosse. When Jessica came around to a lacrosse game, it was love at first sight. He quit his ways and became quite the gentleman.

Elle Jensen-the musical one. As hard as it is for me to master dance, she has dance mastered, plus piano, guitar and the drums. Elle is by far the person most interest in music history that has ever come to Breckenridge. A mistake in classes led to her meeting her boyfriend, Connor Bell. Connor has led his soccer team to multiple victories and still looks amazing while sweating like a pig. Connor was also the cutest out of their boyfriends, and the nicest. How she scored him, I don't know.

Courtney Bell was always the smart one in a group. An honors student, National Honor Society member and a winner of the National Merit Scholarship. How she manages that and dance all at the same time, I have no idea. Courtney is also the sister of the amazing Connor Bell. Courtney's boyfriend, Ron Adams, was exactly like her. He won all the same achievements as Courtney and still manages to be in the popular group of males at Breckenridge.

Then there's JoJo Baggins, the slut. Wearing high heels and tight t-shirts with jeans too small, it was the easiest title to give her. Having JoJo's reputation made it easy for her to get a sleaze-bag boyfriend like Harry Giggins. Harry was the definition of an f-boy. With his hair combed to one side and being in an upcoming rock band, called Up Access he was as bad as it could get. But JoJo and Harry were a match made in heaven.

When I snapped out of my daze, I took a look at my surroundings. No boyfriend, no friends, only my journals and books that I like to read when I'm lonely. And I read a lot. My name is Ash Walters and I want to be just like the five of them which is what I plan on doing.
