Chapter 80: WWJD

I heard faint voices coming from the other room and footsteps in the hallway. Carl was still asleep and holding onto me so I gently moved his arm to get up. I walked into the hallway and saw a man in a beanie walking down the hall.

I immediately ducked back into Carl's bedroom and shook him awake.

"Carl! Wake up! Someone's in the house." I shook him.

"What?" He rubbed his eye.

"Come on. We have to do something." I said as I grabbed my gun from the nightstand.

Carl did the same and he walked into the hallway, I was standing behind him. We looked down the stairs and saw someone holding up one of the pictures on the wall. Carl pulled out his gun and pointed it at the invader.

"Who are you and why are you in my house?" Carl clicked his gun off.

"I'm Jesus. And I'm waiting for your parents to get dressed." The man raised his arms and chuckled.

I shared a glance with Carl, but my eyes widened when I saw a half dressed Rick step out of the room with Michonne behind him. My jaw dropped and I turned my head when I looked at Rick. He just awkwardly looked back at me.

"Carl, it's alright. You two should take Judith and head over to Glenn and Maggie." Rick said as he stepped in between Carl and Jesus.

Carl stood there looking confused, so I went back and picked up Judith from her crib. I passed Rick and Michonne on the stairs and waved for Carl to follow me. I hoisted Judith up so she would be able to sit more comfortably as we walked over to Maggie's house.

"Umm- were they-" Carl broke the silence.

"I don't know. I don't even want to talk about it. At least they didn't catch us last night." I shrugged.

"Yeah but nothing was going on. We were just sleeping." Carl looked confused.

"I know. But you think they'll believe that?" I chuckled as I opened the door to Maggie's house.

"I have something I want to tell you guys." I heard Maggie begin to say to Beth and Glenn.

"Oh, hi Grace." Maggie stopped as she looked at me causing Beth and Glenn to turn their heads to us.

"What brings you over here?" Maggie asked.

"I'll explain later. We can go outside if you're in the middle of something." I said awkwardly, backing up towards the door.

"No, you guys should stay. Come sit, we have breakfast." Maggie said as she put some food onto plates for us.

"Hi Judith!" Beth smiled at me and Judith.

Judith cooed at the sight of Beth and began to squirm a little bit in my arms. I handed her over to Beth and sat down next to Carl.

"What is it you wanted to tell us?" Glenn changed the subject back to its original state.

"Well. I- I'm pregnant." Maggie smiled.

A huge smile grew across Glenn's face and the same with Beth's. Carl and I smiled a little, but it was no shock as we already knew. Beth and Glenn didn't need to know that we knew though. It would be another one of our little secrets.

"Oh my god I'm gonna be an auntie!" Beth got up excitedly and went to hug Maggie.

"Wait, so what does that make me? I mean, I'm Grace Evans Greene Rhee. Not really sure where I fall, whether it's the sister, cousin, or aunt category." I laughed a little.
