The Awakening

Chapter one

His eyes turned a light mint green with slits as pupils. "Alec you're doing it again". I murmur aggravated, he glared at me cold,reptilian eyes puncturing my soul. He did it to piss me off as usual his new pissy attitude makes me wanna rip his throat out but that's "betrayal to all of our kind blah blah blah" he sighed and said "unlike some fools as yourself I tend to let the beast come out and play ever so often instead of confine it like some circus baboon." I didn't like turning into "it" but here recently Jackson my erm probation officer if you will allows Alec and me to have "fun" which meant turning. "Elizabeth are you not going to at least let us see those pretty gray eyes" Jackson said, I let my guard go and felt as the brown illusion left leaving my eyes sterling gray reptilian slits for pupils. "That a girl" Alec mused. Humans have bent our story in thousands of different ways, but we are all genders in all different ways we have our own personalities we are sirens our creators the original three did lure men to their deaths but soon they knew they needed more, the eldest creator Mortilia made the women of our kind the middle original made men her name is Morticia and the youngest Elaria watched she had nothing to do except make rules and the rules were to not show humans our true form. For some it was hard and war broke loose the three sisters and their army won but we still had the problem of an uprising so when we are born hatched whatever we don't know our true form some of us are scared of it it must be awoken and nurtured unlike with Alec he likes the beast but I am one of those who are scared Jackson is a human he belongs to a family which the three sisters kept as "pets". "Watch this" I look at Alec deadly I make my eyes turn three different colors and with each color I choose different styles. Green is a cat eye, Aqua blue reptilian, and red both mixed together. "How in bloody hell did you do that Elizabeth" Alec screamed, I smile and turn my back to him in the car and let my spine become loose and let it break as I turn my torso towards him without moving my bottom half " The sisters did say I was different" I laugh, Alec is gawking at me now as I fix myself. I can do things like this because the sisters say I'm different as I told him i don't know how I'm different but I am. We have rules but the number one is to not fall in love our second biggest rule is to not let a vampire or Werewolf drink from us or eat our corpse. A vampire could live for 2 years without having to feed if even a drop of our blood went down its throat a werewolf the same he/she could change on command and be even a greater threat.
