In the peaceful hills of Mount Paozu, a young boy with a tail named Goku lives alone. Raised in isolation after the passing of his adoptive grandfather, Goku has developed incredible strength and agility, though he's blissfully unaware of his own unique nature. He spends his days training, hunting, and exploring the beautiful wilderness, always eager for the next adventure.One morning, as he roams the forest gathering firewood, a loud rumbling echoes from above. Goku stops, looking up to see a strange, shiny object hurtling through the sky. It's a car—unlike anything he's ever seen—speeding toward him, bouncing off rocks and swerving through the trees. Instinctively, Goku leaps out of the way as the car crashes and skids to a halt in the clearing beside him.
Emerging from the wrecked car is a young girl with blue hair, looking both shocked and annoyed. Bulma, a genius inventor from the city, dusts herself off and checks her capsule car for damage."Hey, kid! You almost made me crash!" Bulma exclaims, though she's more surprised than angry. She's never seen a boy with a tail before.Unfazed, Goku tilts his head curiously. "What kind of monster is this thing? I've never seen one like it!""It's not a monster, it's a car!" Bulma scoffs. She's used to people knowing what technology is, but Mount Paozu is more rural than she expected. "And anyway, I'm looking for something important, not sightseeing.""What are you looking for?" Goku asks, eyes gleaming with curiosity. Bulma pulls a shiny, orange sphere from her pocket. "Ever heard of a Dragon Ball?"Goku's eyes widen. "Hey, I've got one of those at home!" He's never thought much about the odd, four-star ball his grandpa gave him, but this strange girl seems very interested in it.Thrilled, Bulma explains her quest: she's searching for all seven Dragon Balls, legendary objects that, when gathered together, can summon a mystical dragon who will grant any one wish. She persuades Goku to let her see his Dragon Ball, and, in return, offers to let him come along on her journey.

When they finally reach the shore and bid farewell to the turtle, something extraordinary happens. Just as they're about to leave, a blue blur appears, speeding toward them across the beach at an impossible speed."Whoa!" Goku exclaims, his eyes sparkling with excitement.
