In the quiet of a cozy bedroom, the soft morning sunlight filtered through the curtains, casting a warm glow on everything it touched. The room was serene and simple, a blend of white and grey tones creating an atmosphere of calm. The walls, painted a gentle shade of grey, gave the space a peaceful, almost ethereal feel. A large, soft white bed stood against one wall, its comforter crumpled slightly, as if it had been disturbed during the night. The brown furniture, from the dresser to the bedside table, added a touch of warmth, grounding the room in an earthy, welcoming palette.

Ho-Seok sat on the edge of the bed, his body tense, and his gaze fixed on the small pregnancy test he held in his trembling hands. His usually vibrant brown eyes were clouded with confusion and fear, the faintest shimmer of tears collecting at his lower lashes. The test, with its simple, yet undeniable results, sat heavy in his hands, as though it were a weight he couldn't escape.

"How? How can I be pregnant?" His voice cracked, breaking the silence in the room. His breathing hitched with each word, the uncertainty and shock weighing heavily on him. "We were so careful..."

The words hung in the air like an accusation. Ho-Seok's usually composed nature was shattered, his emotions raw and unrestrained. The room, which had been filled with morning light just moments before, now felt heavy with a sense of helplessness.

Across from him, Yoon-Gi stood frozen, his own face pale and his eyes wide. The tall, handsome young man, with his soft features and neatly styled black hair, looked down at his boyfriend with a mixture of concern and disbelief. He was tall and lean, his presence usually calm and composed, but now, his posture was rigid, his brows furrowed in confusion.

"Ho-Seok, I don't know... I don't know how this happened either," Yoon-Gi muttered, stepping forward hesitantly. His voice was soft, full of an unspoken guilt, as though he too felt the weight of the situation. He reached out, placing a hand gently on Ho-Seok's shoulder, but Ho-Seok flinched, his body stiffening under the touch.

Yoon-Gi's fingers twitched in the air for a moment before he pulled his hand back, unsure of how to comfort him. They had always been so careful. Both of them had been meticulous in taking precautions, knowing the risks, understanding the consequences. Yet here they were, facing a reality neither of them had prepared for.

"Darling, we can't do anything about it now. It's our baby," Yoon-Gi said, his voice gentle, trying to offer reassurance, though his own heart was heavy with the same uncertainty.

Ho-Seok sighed, his shoulders sagging as he leaned forward, holding the pregnancy test in his hands as if it were an anchor. He swallowed hard, trying to compose himself, but the tears continued to fall down his face. His usually flawless features were marked with distress, his normally bright eyes dulled with fear.

"I know, hyung, but what are we going to do? Your family... they can't know about this. They wouldn't understand. They wouldn't accept it." Ho-Seok's voice broke as he spoke the words he had been dreading to say out loud. He wiped his eyes hastily, but it did little to stop the flow of tears. The thought of facing Yoon-Gi's family, seeing their disappointment face, terrified him. He loved Yoon-Gi with all his heart, but he feared the consequences of their secret being exposed.

Yoon-Gi closed his eyes briefly, his chest tightening with the same fear. His family's acceptance was something he had always taken for granted. His parents were strict, especially when it came to matters of tradition and reputation. He had always been their perfect son, their pride and joy. What would they think when they found out about his relationship with Ho-Seok-and the child? Would they disown him? Would they hate Ho-Seok? The uncertainty gnawed at him.

"I know, darling..." Yoon-Gi's voice was barely a whisper, thick with the weight of his own fears. "But... we'll figure something out. We'll find a way to get through this. You and me, we'll make it work."

Ho-Seok looked up at him, his tear-streaked face softening at the sight of Yoon-Gi's calm yet concerned expression. He could see the pain in Yoon-Gi's eyes, the silent turmoil. Yoon-Gi had always been strong for him, always there when things were tough, and yet now, the uncertainty in his boyfriend's face was almost more than Ho-Seok could bear.

"But how will we hide this?" Ho-Seok's voice was barely above a whisper, filled with desperation. "I won't get an abortion, hyung. I can't... I won't do that. But how can we keep it a secret? What if they find out?"

Yoon-Gi's heart clenched at the mention of abortion. He moved forward, pulling Ho-Seok into his arms, holding him close. He pressed his lips gently to the top of Ho-Seok's head, the tears on his own face silently betraying the calmness he was trying to project.

"Never mention that again, Ho-Seok. Never," Yoon-Gi whispered, his voice fierce with emotion. "It's our baby, and no one-no one-will take them from us. I'll do anything to protect you. To protect our family."

Ho-Seok's sobs slowed as he held onto Yoon-Gi, his body trembling, but a small, shaky smile began to form on his face. Despite the fear and uncertainty, he felt a sense of relief in Yoon-Gi's embrace. His hyung, his protector, was there, and he was not going anywhere.

"I love you, hyung," Ho-Seok whispered, burying his face against Yoon-Gi's chest. "I'm just scared... scared of what will happen. I don't want them to hate me."

Yoon-Gi tightened his hold, his voice soft but firm. "They won't hate you. We'll face this together. Don't think about the negative. We'll confront my parents when the time is right. They'll understand, and maybe Woo-Seok hyung too. You're my love, Ho-Seok. And nothing will change that."

Ho-Seok nodded, his tears slowing as he felt a small glimmer of hope in his heart. Despite the challenges ahead, he knew that they would face them together. And for now, that was enough.
