I wake up to my alarm at 8:30 am because I have to be at Prudential Center at 11 am due to them having a 3 pm game. I get out of bed and go to my closet to pick out my outfit. I chose red dress pants and a white button down with white heels. I put on my makeup and get done at around 9:50 am and then I decide to start doing my hair. I get done with everything at 10:25, I then brush my teeth then grab my camera and purse then I meet my uber out front. While in the uber I decide to make an instagram post. —————————————————————-

My uber driver says as he stops the car in front of Prudential Center. "Bye thanks so much" I say. "See you, have a good day ma'am" He says. I get out of the car and walk to the doors the security guard is there and I tell him who I am and show him my ID and how it's my first day and he hands me my keys to the building and a separate one for my office.
My first thought as I step into the building is how nice it is, I mean don't get me wrong I had a feeling it would be nice but it was better than expected. I am walking towards my office as everything finally sets in. I am fulfilling my dreams I've had since I was a little girl. I get a little teary eyes but quickly wipe them away to not ruin my makeup. I get to my office and I am met with my ID badge and a devils hoodie along with a few other things to keep on my desk.
I turn around and I am met with a woman with long blonde hair and tanned skin. "Hi!! You must be Vera! I'm Samantha, but you can call me Sam. I am the manager of the photography department. It's super nice to meet you" she says as she hugs me. "Hey! I am Vera, I am stoked to be working here! It's a pleasure to meet you!" I say as we both pull away from the hug. "I will give you a tour of the arena and then I will take you to meet the players and by the way your outfit is adorable" Sam says with a smile. "Omg thank you! I'm so excited to meet everyone" I say as we walk out of my office.
We finish up the tour and it is now time to go meet the players. "So first you are gonna be meeting Nico, he is the captain of the team" Sam says as we approach the locker room. "Ok!" I say in response. "IS EVERYONE DECENT" Sam yells into the locker room before we come in, she gets a bunch of yeses in response. We walk in and I am met with none other than Nico Hischier himself. "Hi I'm Nico and you are Vera, correct?" Nico says with a strong Swiss accent. "Hi! I am, it's nice to meet you" I say.
I look next to Nico and I am met with the most gorgeous man I've seen in my entire life looking right back at me. He looks very familiar I just can't put a name to him, he cuts off my thoughts by saying "Hey I'm Jack and you are?" "Hi! I'm Vera. I'm the new photographer for you guys" I say with a smile. "I'm glad I will be seeing you more" Jack adds with a wink. A subtle blush creeps up my cheeks as I say "Well it was lovely to meet you Jack" I say as my Canadian accent slips up. "Are you from Canada? I heard a little hint of Canadian in your voice" Jack says with a small laugh. "Yeah I am" I say with a giggle. "Well I gotta meet everyone else goodluck Jack!" I say. "Thanks! It was nice meeting you Vera." He says and then I walk away.
I finished meeting all of the players and it was now 1:30 pm. I decided to go onto instagram due to me having some spare time and follow a few of the players. Sam knocks on the door to tell me who my main focus of today will be. "Ok so your main focus is to take pictures of Jack and Luke Hughes as well as any other pictures you get of the rest of the team but make sure to get a good bit of each of the Hughes" Sam said with a smile. "Alright thank you. What time should I head down to start to take pictures?" I ask out of curiosity. "The game starts at 3 but they start warm ups at around 2:30 ish so just be down there at some time around like 2:15." She says with a smile as she leaves my office. I gather my camera and make sure it's ready with all of the right settings and I start to head down to where I will be taking the pictures from due to it being 2:05 already.
