I had it blessed by the sun goddess, Amaterasu, to kill demons sense it wasn't forged from nichirin ore. I was currently enjoying a meal in a restaurant before my next assignment and took a bit of break sense I was on a non-stop demon kill spree.
Izaiah(mind): if Shinobu knew I didn't take a break to rest and recover she would bury me alive...
The thought of what Shinobu would do to me sent shivers down my spine if she ever found out.
Izaiah(mind): Shinobu may act tough, but deep down she is a big softie. I just pray she never finds out.
My crow landed on my shoulder and informed me I am need at Mount Natagumo. I finished my meal and ordered rice balls for the road.
-time skip-
I was half way there munching on a rice ball. I quickly finished my rice ball and put my mask on sense I was approaching mount Natagumo.
Izaiah(mind): from what I heard, many people and demon slayers disappeared on this mount. Likely a member of the 12 kizuki is involved.
I arrived at the mountain and instantly sensed more than one demon, at most I sensed 4 normal demons and 1 that was stronger than the rest. I made my way through the forest avoiding the tiny spiders white with red dots on them.
Izaiah(mind) spiders... Great... Just great.
I saw many fallen and still living slayers being used as puppets.
Izaiah(mind): seems the demon is using the spiders to attach strings to the demon slayers and using them as puppets.
I saw them drop and die indicating that the demon was killed.
Izaiah(mind) must be other demon slayers.
I kept going through the forest and saw a boy with a mark on his head protecting what I assumed to be his younger sister. I made my move and decapitated the demon easily.
Izaiah: that makes 50.
I turned my head and saw the demon's rank.
Izaiah(mind): lower moon 5.
I seethed the sword of Triton and turned my attention to the boy and girl.
