It all seemed to happen in a flash, her voice and begs behind me as I turn the handle, stepping into what could only be suicide waiting to happen. The darkness that surrounded my slender body left me shaken enough you'd expect an earthquake to be in the midst. It wasn't until I felt that door slam behind me that I knew I messed up; begs turning into screams within mere seconds. Watching my own soul be drained before me as the deafening, yet so far, sounds of Karen's screams come from miles away. Karen, the light of my life; a shooting star amidst decaying corpses and sophomore click bait. It's her whom I reside in, her whom I find myself craving contact from as my soul is Hellishly stolen from me. For it felt like only a few Heavenly seconds ago that her hand was in mine, that blissful feeling of not being on this godforsaken Hell of a world alone; for I had been with my Karen.
