So, my date went amazing! The restaurant Randy took me to was literally the perfect spot, and the food was so good! I didn't expect alternate monster cuisine to be so delicious, but it was. Although, I did make a mistake and ordered a soda that was so sticky it felt like I was drinking Sprite-flavored bubble gum. It was actually pretty funny. Randy and I got a good laugh at that.

After dinner, Randy kept his promise and took me on a little sightseeing trip before it was time for me to head home. He took me to an art museum! You guys know that I love art as much as I love Disney movies, right? Well I may have mentioned to Randy in our letters that I was a bit of an art nerd, and I just couldn't believe that he remembered that. He may be going down a dark path, but I adore that he cared enough to remember something as silly as my love of art. What a guy...

Anyway, I walked him back to campus, where we promised each other that we would write again soon, and that we would repeat this night again next Halloween. Scaring people, and everything. The idea was marvelous. I gave him a goodbye kiss on the cheek, and left for the door back to the Dreamlight Valley.

I made it to the door with no problems. And when I opened it and arrived back into my room at my house in the Valley, I shut the door down so I wouldn't have any unexpected visitors and turned back into my human self. I sighed dreamily as I remembered the fun time I had with Randy, hoping and fantasizing about the next time I'd see him...

And then the rotary phone rang.

I snapped out of my little Cupid-stricken fantasy and went to answer the phone. Having an idea about who would be on the other line and how mad they'd both were when they pieced together that I was involved with the little Halloween in Sleepy Hollow cemetery scare.

"Was that you who scared us at the cemetery?!" Pearl's voice asked from the other line.

"It was Randall, actually." I told her. "We were trying to win a bet."

"Dude, that was awesome!" Alex joined in with an excited laugh. "I legit thought my abuelo was rising from the dead trying to get in one last prank."

"Yeah!" Pearl added. "That was fun! Best Halloween prank ever!"

I gave a laugh at the thought before apologizing. "I'm just sorry I had to do all that to you guys."

"Girl, if we had known you were doing a favor for your boyfriend, we would've been happy to help." Pearl told me.

"Randy's not my boyfriend," I blushed at the accusation. "And besides, I couldn't have told you. It had to be a legit scare."

"Well, we had fun despite the whole getting scared thing." Alex assured me. "You did us and Papá Miguel good."

"Glad to hear you say that, Alex." I told him. "Look, I gotta go. I am exhausted from tonight."

"Night, girl!" Pearl ended the call. "See you soon!"

I hung up the phone, and then immediately went to my desk and started drawing in my sketchbook. No matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't stop myself from drawing Randall. His cute smile, his radiant scales, and those eyes... Oh, those beautiful eyes that shine like peridots in the sunlight. Thankfully, nobody but me was allowed to look in this sketchbook, but it didn't matter. I didn't need someone to see my drawings of Randall to know what I was feeling about him.

In the midst of my sketching, I heard a friendly knock on my bedroom door.

"Come in..." I called out as I closed my sketchbook.

"We just wanted to check in on you." Panic said as he and Pain entered the room.

"Didja have a good time?" Pain asked.

I responded by grabbing them both, hugged them, and spun around. "Oh, boys, I just had the greatest day of my life!"

In the midst of my completely and hopelessly love-stricken mood, I accidentally spun so fast that the imps fell out of my arms. Thankfully, they remembered they had wings so they started flying before they hit the floor. They shook their dizzy heads as I kept spinning around my room.

"I-I just can't stop thinking about Randy!" I sighed dreamily as I fell onto my bed. "He's somethin' else..."

"Oh," Panic gave a chuckle. "She's got it bad."

"What?" Pain asked him. "What's she got?"

"Isn't it obvious?" Panic asked before he cupped his hands under his cheek. "Frankie's in love."
