-𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙉𝙚𝙭𝙩 𝙙𝙖𝙮-

Dragging your feet sleepily, you enter the school gate. You can vaguely hear the voices of other students laughing and giggling happily. It pissed you off.

𝘜𝘨𝘩...𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵'𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘺 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵...

You spot Nobara on one of the benches eating a donut so you stroll over to her direction.

"...hey." You drawl lazily.

She looks from her phone, mouth full as she speaks.

"God what's wrong with you, did you even sleep!?"

You gaze at the sugary, frosted donut in her hands before replying.

"Don't you think it's a bit early for that...anyway, I didn't get much sleep." You yawn. "After Megumi left, I tried doing some equations on my own."

Her eyes widen in surprise, "Woww...look at you, being all studious."

You smile tiredly, sitting next to her with a defeated sigh.

"Not really, I wasn't able to complete them on my own so...."

She coos, wrapping an arm around your shoulder, "Girl that's fine, it was your first lesson with him....you'll get it eventually."

You smile at her comforting words, but it didn't make you feel much better. Truth is you don't have much time, exams are coming up and you're behind the rest of the class.

"Are you seriously eating a donut this early!?" Maki appears in front of the both of you, scoffing at Nobara's choice of breakfast.

Nobara turns her attention to Maki, frowning at her judgemental gaze.

"So what? I can eat what I want, it's my life!"

"You won't be alive much longer if you keep eating stuff like that."

"Makiiii!!! Why would you say that!"

"Sorry that I care about your health."

You can't help but groan in annoyance. Nothing but quarreling between those two. You lean your head back on the bench...a certain image coming to your mind.

𝘔𝘦𝘨𝘶𝘮𝘪 𝘸𝘢𝘭𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘯.

...𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥'𝘷𝘦 𝘨𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘢𝘯 𝘶𝘮𝘣𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘢...

Suddenly you hear a sneeze, causing you to turn your head in the direction of the sound.

Your eyes land on Megumi walking into school, rubbing his nose as he sniffles.

𝘞𝘢𝘪𝘵...𝘩𝘦'𝘴 𝘨𝘰𝘵 𝘢 𝘧𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘥!?

You can't help but wonder if only you had given him an umbrella, he would've been fine. Great ...now you blame yourself for him getting the sniffles.
