Pt.2 to quarter life

A soft glow of warm light filtered through the mesh white curtains, painting the room and furniture a light orange. Taehyun stirred groggily, the sudden light and unusual feeling of coldness slowly waking him up. He lightly pouted before throwing his arm across the bed, expecting to feel a particular figure on the other side. That only left him disappointed, as he felt nothing, just cold bedsheets.
Where was this idiot? They were supposed to start their day with anniversary cuddles! Despite being 75% asleep, Taehyun was very aware of the date and its importance. The younger sat up, stretching and yawning while rubbing his eyes. He looked around the illuminated room only to see that his boyfriend, Beomgyu, was nowhere to be seen. A pout made its way onto his face as he stood up and put on some slippers.
His boyfriend couldn't have just disappeared out of nowhere, right? He's probably just somewhere else in the house... right? He started checking different locations in their apartment.
The bathroom? Nope.
The living room? Nope.
The kitchen? Nope.
Taehyun started internally panicking. 'Where the fuck could he be?' He thought, basically searching everywhere for his boyfriend. His still sleepy self then went to his phone. He quickly spotted a message from the one and only person he has been trying to find.

The shorter let out a huge sigh of relief. Along with that feeling of relief, there was also... disappointment. Why was he at Yeonjun's place on their anniversary first thing in the morning? Did he forget? There's no way...right? Taehyun took a deep breath, calming himself down. 'Don't get ahead of yourself, Taehyun. I'm sure he remembers. He'll be back as soon as he can, and then we can spend our day together!'
After calming down, he took a shower and dressed up in clothes that Beomgyu liked to see on him. I mean, who wouldn't on their anniversary? Taehyun stared in the mirror at his outfit that consisted of a pink cardigan with a strawberry pattern on it, cute blue jeans, red Converse, and a cute beret that matched his cardigan. He fixed his blonde hair (A/N: bro dyed it again 🤡) and made sure he looked cute and perfect for his boyfriend. He sighed.
