Yaiena lay in bed, scrolling through her Instagram feed, liking anything that came across her screen until an incoming FaceTime call from her cousin Reek interrupted her.

"Hello?" Yaiena said as she answered the phone.

"Hey, Yai. You tryna come somewhere with me?" Reek asked, turning his camera on.

"Yeah, I guess. Just don't take me anywhere ghetto, though," she replied, thinking about the last time she'd gone somewhere with him.

Yaiena tossed her phone onto the bed after the call ended, rolling her eyes but smiling at her cousin's insistence. Reek had always dragged her random weird places, but she trusted him.

She headed to her closet, quickly grabbing her black Lululemon leggings set and pulling it on. It was comfortable and simple for wherever they were going. She slipped on her black Bailey Bow Uggs. She grabbed her phone, keys, and a small crossbody bag before heading downstairs to wait for Reek.

A few minutes later, she heard the familiar rumble of his car pulling up outside. She took a deep breath, mentally preparing herself for whatever he had in store this time, then stepped outside with a grin.

He reached over to unlock and open the car door for her. She got in, fastened her seatbelt, and he sped off as loud music started playing.

Soon pulling up at the gas station, he got out and asked if she needed anything. She shook her head, watching him go inside before switching the music from NoCap to "True Love" by LLOADED.

She pulled out her phone, opened the camera app, and started recording herself lip-syncing to the lyrics. "Girl, you're always taking those lil ugly videos," he said, rolling his eyes playfully as he tossed a bag through the window before moving to the other side of the vehicle to pump gas.

She laughed, looking into the bag to find three packs of Backwoods and some snacks. Pulling out a pack of Skittles, she opened it and tossed a few into her mouth, her face scrunching up when she realized they were the sour ones.

Hearing the door open, she quickly put her seatbelt back on, waiting for him to start the car and pull off.

They soon arrived at their destination and saw three boys standing outside of their car. Yaiena slouched down in her seat, hearing the car door shut, and looked over to see her cousin coming around to open her door.

She got out of the car, grabbed her things from the seat, and stuffed the rest of the Skittles into her purse. Following her cousin into the building, they walked all the way to the back, where he opened a door that led them into a dimly lit room with LED lights lining the corners and a small booth on the far left.

Noticing a lot of people in the room, she spotted an empty spot on a worn, black leather couch and sat down while her cousin dapped up some of the others in the room.
