After the conversation with Luke, Bella made her way back to the main house. Beth was on the porch with a bottle of vodka, and Bella joined her for a chat. Beth was asking about hearing her tell someone to fuck off a few minutes ago and Bella told her what Luke said and that she broke up with him but she was fine. Beth went inside and grabbed two bottles of the expensive champagne, the women talking, laughing, and drinking. "I have to take a shower, you gonna be okay out here? "Lee asked Bella. Bella nodded," Yes sir." Lee and Jaime laughed walking inside. Beth walked down to the bunkhouse, leaving her and Kayce alone. Kayce walked over and wrapped his arms around her, kissing her shoulder.Bella leaned back into him for a second,then pushed off. "You stink,"she told him as she laughed. He laughed, "Oh yeah? John and Lee at the ends,Tate and Beth at John's sides. Rip next to Beth beside Jaime leaving two seats next to Lee and Tate. Bella sat next to Lee who grabbed her knee as she sat, Kayce beside her. Looking around the table, John was quiet but misty eyed. Beth reached over to hold his hand,"You okay Daddy?" he looked at everyone and said." Just thankful to Bella honey. Haven't had you all here for a meal in years." Bella smiled. "This wasn't my doing John.."as he cut her off, "They're all here because They love you and want to catch up. You've been apart of this family your whole life and your absence has been felt and severely missed." Bella smiled at John as Gator brought in dinner. "Well Bella, I made food you can actually eat. I've got some seasoned salmon, with brown rice, and some veggies for you. Everyone else is the same but with a different protein." Bella was grateful as he put her plate in front of her, touching his arm,"Thank you Gator. Looks amazing." Gator passed out everyone else's plates as the family joined hands to say grace. After the prayer, everyone dug in. "Oh my god Gator, this is the best," Bella complimented. He smiled and walked out. In traditional fashion, Lee cut Bella a piece and speared it on his fork saying,"Wanna bite? It's venison," holding the fork to her. Bella took the bite and held out her own fork with salmon for him to try."Oh that is so good." She smiled as Jaime did the same, "B, try some dove?" she nodded and gathered some salmon for Jamie, then they fed each other their bites. Jaime said, "Wow that really is good." Bella laughed, "See, you guys think l eat terrible food but I eat good food." She looked at Kayce who looked left out and put her hand on his neck as she took a bite of her food. He immediately looked happier. Bella asked,"Try some salmon?" He smiled and nodded, cutting a piece of his off to offer. She fed him a bite as he fed her. "It's elk," he said quietly. "It's good," she said and smiled. She removed her hand as he placed a hand on her thigh. Lee caught her gaze smiling hard."Very loving," he said as he looked at Kayce who mumbled, "Thank god for champagne."
John laughed,"What's going on with Bella's fork?It's been in four people's mouths already." they all laughed. Bella responded."Wanna try? We can make it five!" he laughed as Tate chimed in and came to sit on her lap,"I wanna try!" they laughed and she looked to Kayce to see if it's okay, he nodded as to say it was. She fed him the bite and then remembered she got him something. She bolted up, "Oh my god I forgot, Lee help me!" he came up behind her at her truck and went wide eyed. Bella grabbed the giant dinosaur stuffed animal by the tail and dragged it up the stairs into the living room where everyone was standing. "I could use some more hands in the back of my truck." Rip, John, and Jaime walked out to help Lee unload the rest. Tate's eyes grew wide and he screamed "Oh my god, thank you! It's awesome!" Bella smiled"That's not all buddy," as Lee and Jaime walked in carrying other dinosaur themed items, then came John and Rip doing the same. Soon the living room looked like a toy box threw up. Tate was ecstatic, thanking her repeatedly. Kayce smiled, "You didn't need to do all this, let me pay for it,"as he took out his wallet. Bella grabbed his wallet and chucked it into the other room,"I know I didn't, it was a gift. I don't want your money. Tate's my friend, and seeing it all now I worry I may have went overboard." Tate threw himself around Bella. "If this is for being quiet one time, I wonder what a Christmas with you would be like," he exclaimed as everyone laughed.
