the following week, the group gathered to finalize sports fest details before their busy schedules kicked in with upcoming evaluations. yurim sat between hao and her cousin jihoon, while hanjin and haneul were across from them, joined by kyungmi, jaehyun, sakuya, aein, and haerin. the room buzzed with energy as they prepared for the event.

"alright, everyone, let's get this started!" hanbin's twin, haerin, said as she stood up. "we're here to finalize everything for the sports fest, so let's make it count."

kyungmi, always the first to speak up, glanced at the group. "we need to decide on the events and how we're going to split everyone up for the teams."

"i think we should start with the sports first," jaehyun added. "then we can figure out the fun activities."

aein, who was a little quieter, smiled. "maybe we should mix it up—like, not just sports. we could add something creative, like a talent showcase or a dance competition. or maybe we could have a random play dance segment?"

"i love that idea!" sakuya said, his face lighting up. "we could even have mini performances between the sports to keep the energy up."

yurim nodded thoughtfully, glancing at hao. "that sounds fun. we'll need to make sure there's enough time for everything though."

jihoon, ever the strategist, leaned in. "let's also make sure the event flows smoothly. we don't want things to feel rushed."

haerin looked around at everyone. "good points. we'll need a solid schedule for the day."

yurim couldn't help but notice how cute aein and sakuya were, especially when they got excited about the sports fest. every time they spoke, their energy was infectious, and their enthusiasm made it hard for yurim to focus on anything else.

aein shyly suggested, "maybe we could have a mini karaoke session after the sports events?" her cheeks turned pink as she looked down, clearly unsure if it was a good idea.

sakuya, his eyes sparkling, immediately jumped in, "oh, that sounds amazing! we could even make it a competition! like, everyone has to sing their heart out."

yurim couldn't contain the wide grin that spread across her face. she leaned over to hao, her voice low as she whispered, "can you believe how cute they are? like, how are they even real?"

hao, noticing her obvious fangirling, raised an eyebrow but smiled. "you're totally swooning, huh?"

yurim nodded enthusiastically, still watching aein and sakuya chat excitedly. "they're so adorable! I can't handle it. I mean, look at them. aein's all shy, but then she has the best ideas, and sakuya is just... ugh, too cute."

as the meeting went on, yurim couldn't shake the overwhelming affection she felt for aein and sakuya. their excitement, their cuteness—it was too much to handle. eventually, she leaned over to hao with a dreamy sigh.

"i swear, i'm adopting them both," she whispered, her eyes glued to aein and sakuya, who were still enthusiastically talking about the karaoke idea.

hao raised an eyebrow, clearly amused. "you're adopting them now?"

"yep," yurim grinned, nodding vigorously. "look at them! they're so precious. aein's all shy and sweet, and sakuya—he's just... way too cute. they're my children now. officially."

hao chuckled softly. "well, if you say so. just don't spoil them too much."

yurim smiled fondly as aein shyly suggested another idea for the sports fest, her voice soft but full of enthusiasm. sakuya, eager to add his own thoughts, bounced in his seat.

"they're perfect," yurim gushed, practically glowing. "they're like my little kids now. I'm their unnie, or noona, and they're my children. I'll protect them with my life."

jihoon, overhearing her, couldn't help but tease. "so you're their mom now? does that mean you'll be making them do chores?"

yurim shot him a playful glare. "they're my precious children, jihoon. no chores for them. just hugs and love."

as aein and sakuya exchanged another excited glance, yurim leaned back in her chair, still smiling to herself. "yep, definitely adopting them," she murmured, clearly at peace with her decision.

the rest of the group exchanged amused looks, but no one disagreed. it was clear to everyone that aein and sakuya had already won yurim's heart—and now, they were her little adopted children.
