I'd been in this same loop for days in end by now, nothing ever changes here. I just continuously handle the test subjects, sometimes getting to do research and test things on occasions where the others couldn't.

I hated my job of handling test subjects. I'd seen suffering of all kinds in the subjects I handle, I only kept a cold front to keep myself from loosing my job. I wasn't qualified to actually talk or interact with the lab rats unless completely necessary, which wasn't often.

Back to the present however, I was simply waiting in my lab area. I was waiting for an order or command from the big man. I knew he only made me handle lab rats cause I was larger, stronger than most.

I forgot to introduce myself, I'm known as D27, and also Lavender to most. Anyway just to give some context on my life and how it's going, I'll give you a quick explanation.

I am basically the unwilling worker if a demon who had snatched my soul a while back and is making me work at a lab with test subjects and experiments. I couldn't really tell you much more, I don't know much about this place aside from my schedule.

My schedule was wake up, get ready, go out to my lab area, wait for a command, receive a command, go do said command, return to my quarters, get into comfy clothes, and sleep. My schedule didn't change at all.

I'd been doing this for about 5 years. I knew everyone around me by now, even the test subjects. Back to the present again since I got side tracked again.

I was just waiting when I got the notification through the computer, correction it was more of an alarm. My computer made this god awful noise in waves. I eventually figured out how to turn it off so I could focus on reading what to the warning said.

Apparently one of the mutants had managed to break through the door of its containment cell and broke through a wall, and created a portal to a different place in the process of getting away. I knew this was my chance to get out of this place.

I ran down to the others, Lotus and Cosmo. "What do you want?" I heard Lotus' voice from the lab. "Where's the other one?" I asked, knowing that Cosmo and Lotus were close. Lotus finally stepped out, "man I don't know and I don't really care eith- oh there she is" Lotus noticed Cosmo walking down the hallway.

Once I'd gotten them both to listen I finally explained what had happened. "Apparently one of the mutants got out, created a portal on the way. I think that portal is our one way ticket out of this hell hole." I explained.

Lotus and Cosmo exchanged glances before Lotus spoke, "are you sure he's not gonna find up, I've been beaten too many times."

I knew that whatever happened when we got out couldn't possibly be worse than what's happening in here. "Better than being completely stuck here" I said in reply, earning a small hum of agreement from Cosmo. Lotus seemed to weight the options for a second before talking, "fair enough, let's go"

I lead them to where the warning had said the portal was. Once we were there Cosmo seemed to look down the rabbit hole of a portal.

"Well- uh- that's a portal alright." Lotus muttered under her breath. I glanced to both of them before I jumped into the portal, I heard the moment of them trying to stop me.

I was in a weird rabbit hole fall. I couldn't tell which way was which. I blacked out after so long of falling.
