Author's note: Oh my God i forgot how horrid Wattpad's system to upload chapters are. I wrote this in MS Word which automatically creates a space everytime i press enter to make a new paragraph, and apparently it doesn't translate to wattpad.
Even then, i have to manually separate each new scene i want to make using dashes repeatedly.
You might know me from the guy who make Hearts of Fortune fanfic for Arknights, which cancelled unceremoniously due to me having less interest in the game.
But!
I've never stopped writing, though i only write my own webnovel over in Royalroad, as of right now, that novel has 160 THOUSAND words. So I've been busy.
Nevertheless, my laptop is broken, enjoy this fanfic i made on a whim on the MS Word app on my phone.

Ahh~
Lungmen.
The city of the world’s desire. A place where dreams come to life—or shatter, if you’re not careful. A metropolis that never sleeps, a magnet for people from every corner of the world. Here, amidst towering skyscrapers, anything is possible for those daring enough to seize it.
Economic opportunity? Lungmen has it in spades. The government, in all its wisdom, grants just enough freedom for enterprising souls like myself to carve out a niche—legally, or otherwise.
Companies! Startups! Venture capitalists! Eh, who cares about those?
Those needed time, investment, and patience!
I don’t have that much time, how could one get rich quickly without doing hard stuff?
Well luckily I’m not your average Ursine.

Undisclosed meeting room.“Gentlemen! As you can see here…” I gestured with my pointer stick toward a graph projected onto the screen behind me. A chaotic swirl of lines and bars, with a few dramatic spikes for effect. What does this graph represent? Nothing, really. But the trick is to talk with enough confidence, and these fools will believe it.
Sell a story, that’s what matters. Not truths.Oops, did I say fools? I meant my dearest investors.
“This,” I continued, smiling warmly at the faces eagerly watching, “is a representation of our exponential growth over the past quarter. As you can see from the steady incline, our capital has doubled—no, nearly tripled!—in just a few short months.” I tapped the pointer against the screen, where a well-placed upward curve made them nod approvingly. “It’s the result of our unique approach to investing, one that prioritizes opportunities over risks.”
I paused, giving them a moment to absorb this. It’s all part of the act; build anticipation, keep them wanting more.
“Now, the beauty of our model is its simplicity,” I continued smoothly. “We don’t deal in the slow, traditional methods that stifle most financial endeavors. No, we offer our partners exclusive access to lucrative, high-return opportunities. Through careful, strategic reinvestment, each of you will see your assets multiplying in real time.” A few nods here, murmurs of approval there.
Good. They were buying it.
“But,” I added, dropping my voice to a conspiratorial tone, “this is a rare opportunity. We’re nearing capacity, and in order to maintain these staggering returns, we must keep our partner list… selective. So if any of you wish to increase your investment, now would be the time.” I could almost see their thoughts—visions of wealth, early retirements, maybe a second house in Siesta on the side.
