Yan Jue didn't know how long she had been unconscious. When she woke up again, she became aware of the surrounding noise.

She kept her eyes closed, and through a thin layer of eyelids, she could sense a dim orange glow.

The bed beneath her was warm and soft.

Yan Jue opened her eyes a slit and could faintly see busy figures all around.

As soon as she opened her eyes, countless pairs of eyes turned to look at her.

Someone softly called out, "Princess."

Yan Jue froze for a moment. Her blurry vision gradually cleared, and the first thing that came into focus was the enormous head of a red fox. Its golden pupils and sharp canine teeth interlocked, and its red fur was as hard as steel.

Yan Jue almost fainted from fright, looking up at it.

The massive red fox had six tails, and it placed its two claws on the edge of Yan Jue's bed, exhaling hot waves of breath.

When it saw her open her eyes, it let out a cry, and its long whiskers trembled gently.

Yan Jue quickly sat up. Before she could react, the giant red fox embraced her.

It held her carefully, slightly adjusting its claws to avoid hurting her. "Jue Jue, you've suffered all these years."

"From now on, it will be as it is. I won't interfere anymore. Do whatever you want."

The red fox's body was a bit bulky, and its large face was pale. It looked older, and as Yan Jue stroked its thick red fur, an inexplicable feeling of closeness arose in her heart.

It felt as though a traveler who had wandered for many years had finally returned home.

It turned out that the red fox was the original owner's father.

At this point, Yan Jue probably had an idea of where she was. She forced herself to sit up, feeling like her bones were about to crack.

The red fox king raised his gaze to her, his expression seeming to seek approval. "I've arranged ten handsome men for you. Take a look."

Yan Jue looked over and saw that there were several tall, handsome men wearing golden crowns and brocades standing nearby. When they saw her looking at them, they all turned shyly in her direction.

Yan Jue's expression stiffened, and she quickly said, "No, no need."

The red fox king gazed at her, his emotions complex.

He hadn't seen his daughter in a long time. The last time she ran away with a man was so long ago, and now she had grown up so much. He couldn't help but feel unfamiliar seeing her again.

The red fox king thought to himself as he watched her, his eyes unconsciously filled with caution.

He was afraid that Yan Jue might leave again, and in his heart, he made a silent vow to pamper her properly from now on.

Yan Jue's mind gradually cleared, and she could roughly guess what had happened during the days she had been unconscious.

It seemed that on the day they left Five Dragon Mountain, San Niang had taken her and they escaped the chaos, eventually returning to the Ghost Mansion.

The red fox king's condition seemed to be worsening, as he had been coughing nonstop since earlier.

While sitting beside her, talking to Yan Jue, a woman, elegant and floral in appearance, slowly entered the cave dwelling.
