" I can't believe I have to sit for midterms on top of everything!" Sunghoon sulked, kicking at a stone. "We have our monthly trainee evaluations next week and I haven't even half learned the dance yet!" IT was a breezy September morning and the crisp autumn leaves crunched beneath their feet as Sunghoon and his friend Jake made their way towards their school. Jake chuckled. "Hang in there, man. It's only one more year." He sighed. "Just debut asap and you'll be out of this" Sunghoon groaned. "I wish it was that easy" Jake clapped his back. " We also have matches coming up but midterms can't be avoided so let's just write whatever man." "Easy for you to say, smartass." Sunghoon pushed him playfully.
"Race me to the class dumass!" Jake hit him in the back of the head and took off, laughing. Sungoon ran after him, yelling at him to stop.
As they entered their classroom 12-1, their friend Jay came up to them, looking drained. The three of them have always been a trio and were well known for their looks. The class was unusually abuzz. "You two, apparently some new dude is transferring over today, and these women won't shut up about it." Jay complained, side eyeing the nearby girls. " I'm trying to study here, for God's sake!"
"Is it that interesting to have a new classmate?" Sunghoon scoffed, dropping his bag on his desk and sitting down heavily.
"Apparently this guy is eye candy,so" Jay shrugged.
"Ooooh sunghoon ah, looks like someone's gonna come along and steal your most-swooned-over-guy-in-the-grade title!" Jake grinned, nudging him in the ribs. Sunghoon frowned. Sure, he didn't enjoy being the subject of interest of these loud, squealing girls, but it didn't feel good to have his fame threatened, especially since he was an idol trainee. Fan base was essential.
"Well this whole things probably a rumour. How would they know anyway-" sunghoon began, but just then, the door to their classroom swung open, and their homeroom teacher Mrs. Jeon walked in, followed by a very pure looking boy with a doll like face. There was a collective gasp from the classmates.
"Kids, this is Kim Sunoo. He's your new classmate who recently transferred here. He'll be starting with us today, so be nice and take good care of him~^^" she said.
"DANG he's cutee" Jake whispered loudly. "Isn't that a baby?" Jay wondered.
The new guy walked infront of the class, bowed, and smiled really wide. "Hi! I'm Kim Sunoo! It's so nice to meet you, everyone, I hope we'll get along! Fighting!" He smiled.
"Ain't he a bling bling kid" jake noted.
"Sunoo dear you can sit right here, yes." Sunghoon watched in horror as Mrs. Jeon ushered the kid to the desk on front of him. Sunghoon was an introvert who preferred to be left alone and deliberately sat behind an empty seat just so he could have enough space to breathe and feel comfortable in. "Just great" he mumbled to himself as he watched sunoo settling down.
He couldn't believe what he witnessed next. This guys whipped out his phone and just casually started clicking away selfies right there and then. Sunghoon just stared at the back of his head in amazement. Because like who does that.
Suddenly, sunoo whipped around and flashed him a smile. Sunghoon flinched at the sudden flash of that insane face card. " HI! My name is sunoo!" Sunghoon blinked. The kid got dimples on his upper cheeks when he smiled. 'Cute' he smiled. " Nice to meet you, you're park sunghoon, right?"
Hoons smile evaporated. 'A stalker'. not cute. "How do you know?" He eyed the pretty boy suspiciously. It was pretty common for idol trainees to have their fair share of stalkers, but usually none of them had amber coloured fox eyes.
Sunoo blinked. 'Long ass lashes' sunghoon grit his teeth. "omo, I guess you didnt know. Well you were an ice skater right? I saw you on TV. Anyway your fans from them have an online fan base and they call themselves the icicles. That's how I know, I'm pretty interactive on sns. Although I'm kinda shocked that you didn't know. Like imagine if I had a fanbase I would secretly check them out!" He rambled on.
'A certified yapper.'Sunghoon noted. "Oh, I see." He said.
Sunoo beamed. " Well anyway it was nice to meet you! I really wanted to see you in person" he smiled and turned back.
Sunghoon just blankly stared at the back of this neck. The whole conversation was so sudden and so fast, it was as if a storm had just passed him. "He's definitely an E in mbti." He shook his head as he watched the classmates swarm to him like moths to a flame.

4 sessions later~
The bell for the interval rang, and Sunghoon walked out of the classroom with jake and Jay, cracking his fingers. "I like that new guy" jake smiled, putting his arms around the necks of sunghoon and Jay. "He's outgoing, bubbly and nice."
"Not like me at all" sunghoon laughed.
They met jungwon and Ni-Ki on the way. Jungwon was a nerd guy ( who was class president) a year younger than him, and was a childhood friend of Jay. They're both from filthy rich families. Ni-ki was a teammate from jakes football team and they clicked pretty well together. Their other friend was Heeseung, who was a college student and an assistant temporary teacher. They high fived heeseung, who was on the way to the teachers lounge for his lunch.
While getting lunch, they updated jungwon and Ni-Ki on the whole new guy situation.
Sunghoon decided to check his social media. He gasped. " guys this guy has been in school for probably like 3 hours and he had already let the world know" he chuckled. "Look!"

Junwon peered at sunghoons screen over his shoulder. "Ooo he's pretty" he nodded. Niki peered in, nibbling on a chocolate bun. " Ohh that's Ddeonu! He's super popular on sns. People even thinks he's an idol trainee." He munched.
"Ya don't call him that he's sunoo" sunghoon snapped.
"Well better know as Ddeonu " Ni-Ki shrugged.
Sunghoon scrolled on his page for a bit. Kid was definitely popular. For some reason sunghoon found himself drawn to his magnetic field. He wanted to know more about him. Who was this sudden Ray of sunshine?
