The Harrington's Cottage Village of Ottery St Catchpole - Devon, England ( August, 1994. )
𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐘 𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐅𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐂𝐋𝐎𝐂𝐊 𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐌𝐄𝐃 𝐇𝐀𝐋𝐅 𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐓𝐄𝐍 𝐎'𝐂𝐋𝐎𝐂𝐊. The clock was an old Harrington family heirloom. Olympia swore the blasted noise was enough to make anyone, even the darkest of wizards, just about leap out of their skin.
Olympia Harrington and her twin sister, Cassiopeia, sat across from their father. Their brothers, Atlas and Achilles, at each end of the table. If it wasn't already obvious, their parents had a fascination for Greek mythology.
Their mother anxiously scrambled through the house, last minute packing as always.
"Hurry up dear, we need to be leaving in the next half hour." Edward Harrington gently reminded his wife, taking a sip of his coffee from the dining room table. "And we still need to drop the children off at the Weasley's."
"You don't have to drop us off Father," Olympia spoke up, "they're half a mile down the road, we can walk." She offered.
"No darling, we'll take you, we always do." Edward assured, smiling softly to his eldest daughter. Only by four minutes, but those four minutes counted significantly to Olympia, she reminded Cassiopeia of it relentlessly.
Lucille Harrington hurriedly scrambled through the living room, papers flew through the doorway to her study, and into her open briefcases. "I am hurrying Edward." She shot back sternly, beyond stressed at the moment. It was her own fault, she always packed last minute.
Edward packed over a week ago.
It wasn't as if she didn't know of their plans. It was the same every year, the ministry always sent them away on August, Twenty Eighth, for a lengthy business trip. The Harrington children always stayed with the Weasley's for those few days before the school year. Molly always obliged, treated them as her own she did.
