Chapter 1

"You have to tell Mel!" Malia tells her. "I can't do that! We just broke up! She doesn't need this right now!" Ruby sighs. "Do you honestly think she's gonna care that you two broke up if it's your life on the line?" Malia looks around. She grabs a napkin from the crafties table and wraps the note. "We need this for evidence." She puts it in her pocket. "Evidence?!" Ruby looks at her pocket. "Well, we have to tell the police. This is serious, Ruby. What if this person comes for you?"

Ruby shakes her head. "Then I won't be alone. I'll stick with Kylie or you or Joshua or Dara. Somebody!" "And at home? I heard you're moving out of Mel's place." Ruby nods. "We'll deal with it when we get there. We're gonna be on the road for a couple months anyways." Malia shakes her head. "Mm-mm. I don't like this." Ruby grabs her hands. "Malia, please i beg you!" She sighs. "I'm so gonna regret this. Fine, but we are telling Kylie." "We can-" "Either we tell Kylie or I'm gonna tell Mel myself!" Malia puts her foot down. Ruby sighs and nods. "Fine."

They walk towards Kylie's dressing and open the door. "Whoa- oh hey guys! I panicked for a second. Can one of you help me with this?" Ruby looks at Malia who rolls her eyes and walks towards her. Ruby goes and sits on the couch. "Ky, can we talk?" "Oh god, last time i heard those words, it did not end well for me." She mumbles as Malia slaps her arm. "This is serious." She whispered. "Ok, what's up?" Kylie sits down. "I think.....i might have a stalker...." Ruby sighs. "What? Are you serious? Does Mel know?" Ruby shakes her head. "No, Malia's the only one that knows cause she saw the note." "What note?" Kylie looks at her girlfriend. "It's a note addressed to Ruby, it shouldn't mean anything but the way it was written was very suspicious."

"And you're keeping this from your girlfriend?" Kylie looks at Ruby. "We broke up." She tells her. "You're keeping this from our manager?" She corrects herself. Ruby sighs. "I just don't wanna add to her stress, we just broke up, we just started the tour, this is the last thing any of us need right now. Especially her." "She's gonna find out eventually. And i really think you should tell her. She can beef up security or something. When....how long ago did you get this note?" Kylie looks at it. "Like half an hour ago." "Half an hour? Half an hour?! Ruby, he could still be backstage!" Kylie stands and leaves. "Ky! Wait, Kylie!" They both hurry and follow her. "Mel?! Mel!" "What is it?! What happened?! Who's hurt?!" She looks around frantically, obviously in her manager mode. Ruby bites her lip, trying not to smile. "Mel, we gotta show you something." Kylie hands her the note. "Whose is this for?" She asks. "Ruby." "Excuse me?!" She turns towards her. "I just got it half an hour ago. I found a bouquet of flowers in my dressing room, i thought they were from you, but then i read the note." She sighs. "Show me. Kylia, go to hair and make up!" Mel follows Ruby. "Is she ever gonna stop calling us that?" Malia asks. "Nope." Kylie shakes her head.

Ruby takes her back to her dressing room and points to the bouquet on her dresser. Mel walks up and inspects it. "This is all they left?" Ruby nods. "That and the note." Mel sighs. "Ok, i will contact the police, i will give them this note, and they're gonna figure this out ok? In the meantime, I don't want you to be alone. Ever. Share a dressing room with Ky, Lia, Dara, Morgan, whoever. If you ever need to go on the tour bus, take someone with you. Restroom, dinner, lunch, hotels, I don't care who, as long as you're not alone. Ok?" Ruby nods. Mel sees how shaken up she is and pulls her in for a hug. "Ruby, if anything were to happen to you.... I don't know what I'd do....if i can even live with myself, knowing i could have done something about it...." Ruby looks at her and nods. "I know. If anything else comes up, I'll let you know." Mel nods. "Thank you." She whispered. "Um, you should finish getting ready." She nods. Ruby lets go and nods. "Yeah...." Mel walks to the door and stands outside. Wow, she really isn't leaving her alone. Then again, she expected nothing less from Mel. "Mel?" She calls out. "Yes?" Mel turns her head. "I love you." Ruby smiles. Mel smiles back. "I love you. Now hurry up, everyone's waiting."
