"How did you get an actual ultrasound? This is amazing." I smiled at Maggie and Glenn.

"There was a doctor at the place Jesus is from. It's called the Hilltop. It's small, but they've got everything together." Maggie explained to me.

"Wait, what was Rick saying earlier? You guys are gonna fight someone? I don't understand." I started to go off.

"There's this group that steals from them. They're the same people that tried to kill Daryl, Sasha, and Abraham. We don't want them to find out about us so we have to kill them before they get the chance to kill us." Beth told me.

"What? So we're just killing people now?" I was confused. They don't even know these Hilltop people yet they were willing to kill for them. I didn't understand it.

"No. We're protecting ourselves so we can make sure that we don't get attacked again like we did before." Maggie stepped in.

"Are you talking about the governer or the W's?" I asked.

"Both." Maggie looked upset.

"Well, I don't want anything like that ever happening again. I'll fight with you guys." I offered.

"No way." Glenn objected.

"If she wants to we should let her." Maggie tried to defend me while Beth backed up, holding her arms in the air not wanting to be involved in the fight.

"No. You shouldn't go either Maggie. You guys should all stay here. Keep an eye on things, and stay safe." Glenn began to argue.

"I'm goin'" Maggie put her foot down.

"If Maggie's going, then you can't go, Grace. Okay?" Glenn reasoned with us.

"Where's Grace going?" Carl walked up, looking nervous.

"Nowhere apparently." I rolled my eyes and walked away.

"What's wrong?" Carl put his hand on my shoulder.

"Maggie's treating me like a kid. Again. They won't let me go help and fight." I said, feeling irritated.

"Well you are a kid. Why would you put yourself in unnecessary danger? My dad told me to stay here. You should do the same." Carl tried to convince me.

A part of me knew that he was right. And the other part of me didn't want to stay here and wait while everyone I cared about was out risking their lives.

I walked upstairs in frustration and Carl followed behind me.

"Oh come on. Don't be mad at me." He sounded defeated.

"I'm not mad at you. I'm just mad." I sighed as I stepped into my bedroom.

Carl entered after me, which was something that I wasn't expecting him to do.

"What are you even mad about?" He sat down on my bed next to me.

"I already told you. I want to go with and help them. It was hard enough to let them all leave today just to make a trade. This seems serious." I revealed some of my true worry.

"So you're just worried about them. It's not really about being able to get out." He analyzed the situation better than I even did.

"Well kinda. But I know I'd be a better person to go. They're just gonna go ambush a bunch of people that they don't know. A lot of them don't have the hearts to do that. Glenn doesn't, and he shouldn't have to. I'd do it. I'd do it just fine." I fidgeted with my knife.
