Prologue

" Woah! I didn't know that Hawaii was this pretty! OMG cuz! Thanks for inviting me here!!!! Love you na talaga..." sigaw ko sa pinsan ko while taking many pictures of the beach and surroundings. Sobrang ganda! That's it.

Hi, I'm Zayah. They called me Ayah but there's one person that called me Z.

Andito kami sa Hawaii ng cousin ko to attend his bestfriends' wedding and we'll stay here for a week para makapag enjoy na rin since we're here already so why not????


"C'mon cuz, I told you to wear your bikinis already so we can do some photoshoots. The sun is setting already, it will be dark soon..."

"Okay, okay, I'll go back na sa room to get change then balik ako agad here so stay here oki?" I answered him while walking backward coz I needed to face him while talking and didn't notice I'm gonna bump into someone.

"OMG, really sorry, I didn't notice you..." I said sorry while bowing my head to show my sincerity. Shet nakakahiya.



"Oh, it's fine."

I lifted my head to see him but before I saw his face someone called him and I only saw his back running away from me.


Diko napansin na lumapit na pala sa akin yung pinsan ko. "huy cuz, careful ah! buti papa yung nakabangga mo at mukhang gentleman." Halos diko marinig at maintindihan sinasabi nya sakin kasi paulit ulit kong naririnig yung boses nya.


"Oh, it's fine."


Naramdaman ko nalang na inaalog alog na ako ng pinsan ko while saying "huy ano kaba cuz, ano na love at first sight kana ba dun? Hahahaha"


"Sira, I didn't even see his face pano ma love at first sight? Sige na I'll be back..."



After I got changed, bumalik agad ako sa spot kung saan ko iniwan ang cousin ko and I saw him looking to some crowd and I asked him what happened.

"What happened cuz? Why there's so much crowd there?"


"Oh, there's a teen kasi na natangay ng alon while surfing but he's okay na, someone saved him..." He answered..




"Ohhh." Tanging nasabi ko and that's it. How I wish someone also saved him that time. How I wish that he's still alive.





I miss him...
I wanna see him again...




But how? He's gone. He left us.


It's been a decade already but my heart can't still accept the fact that he's already gone.
