Just one day after I heard Louis announce on the radio that he would be visiting me he called. I was so excited to hear his voice that I nearly fell off my bed. We hadn't directly spoken for well over a year and so the whole thing was a big shock. "Hello Fizzy." Louis said, the familiar warmth in his voice as he spoke softly. "Louis!" I cried. But the only problem was I was a little to loud and Lottie came in the room. "Louis?!" She demanded, grabbing the phone before I could even think to stop her. Her face was bright red as she started screaming into the phone. "Louis how dare you leave our family! And right when we needed you most too! You were the one that we relied on and you left us to become famous with a group of complete strangers. Now who's more important, me or them?!"
Lottie sounded histerical on the phone. She needed to stop though because it wasn't Louis' fault. He didn't know exactly what he left us to live with and couldn't do anything about it now. Yelling at him wouldn't help us at all, or him. Before Lottie could say more, I grabbed the phone and screamed in the earpiece "Call back later!" before I hung up on my confused brother.

"I wasn't done talking to him!" Lottie said, tears in her eyes and mascara streaking her cheeks. I didn't know what to say at all. I knew she missed him a lot but what exactly did she have to deal with? When he left it was him and I that were recieving the worst from our family, not Lottie. She had always been the favourite. Now that he's gone she's not the one being made fun of at school. What exactly is bothering her? Maybe she thinks that because he left, it caused our parents to get divorced and spark all kinds of problems. But I honestly don't know what could be so wrong that Lottie could have a panic attack while Louis was on the phone.
"Lottie, why are you so mad at him?" I flat out asked her. "I'm so tired of everyone walking out of our lives." She said, sniffling. "He just had to sing. If he would've stayed an actor he could've grown in our house and then played in movies when we were older and didn't need him anymore. He would have time for us. Mum and dad would've been proud of him and dad would've not been so violent. Dad would've been still living here and everything would be ok!" "Yeah but Louis wasn't happy." I said. "And he doesn't know what happened since he left. Even if he did there's nothing he could've done to stop it. Lottie I know it's hard but we need to move on. If you want to blame it on anyone, blame it on me. I'm the one that decided he should try out for the X Factor in the first place. He's good, you've got to admit."
Lottie looked at me like I was a demon. "What did you just say?! You told him to go?" "I didn't tell him to do anything, i told him to follow his dreams. He was so sick of people making decisions for him. He was 18 and it was about time he started making his own decisions and getting some freedom. He never liked acting and really wanted to sing." I said, matter of factly and calm. Lottie sighed. I could tell she was considering what I was thinking. "Fine." She said. "But he didn't have to leave us and never visit." She said, on the verge of crying. It was then that I could see that she thought he had abandoned her and she missed him a lot.
I told her that he never visited because he felt that he was unwanted in our household. That was the thing Louis and I had in common, we both felt unwanted. Except for Louis felt that he was wanted in the music industry so that was where he shined brightest. Then I explained to Lottie that maybe Louis could come visit us soon if we called him back and that we could explain to him all that happened since he was gone. She smiled and agreed that that was a wonderful idea and that she couldn't wait to see him again. So as she went into her room, I got my phone out to call Louis.
