The ash of the flame (DISCONTINUED)

Prologue

I grown as I try to get off the floor. The room is hot and filled with thick black smoke. All I can hear is people crying and screaming in pain. Pain radiates through my torso as I push myself onto my knees.
"Lexi?" I call out to my older sister. I get no answer. "Lexi?!"I shout as panic starts to set in. "Lexi?!" I continue to shout for my sister. I move around ,despite the pain pulsing through me, to try and find my sister. Maybe she managed to get out already?I think to myself. I hear someone groan beside me and I help them up. We stay as low as we can and find out way out. I throw myself at the push bar release fire door and I stumble out of the building with the person.

My legs give in.
"We got two kids over hear!"I hear someone shout. Someone grabs me and pulls me away from the burning warehouse.Paramedics rush over and I get out onto a gurney with an oxygen mask covering my mouth and nose. I try to take it off to talk and I try to get off the gurney just to get the mask placed back on and I get gently pushed back into the gurney.I lift the mask a bit.
"Lexi-"I splutter as I start coughing. I hear someone shouting but the voice sounds familiar.
"My girls are in there!" I hear him shout.I lean myself up and spot my dad.
"Dad?!"I call to him in confusion.his head whips around and his eyes meet mine.

He rushes over. One of his hands hold mine and the other touches my head.
"Jas.." he mutters in relief. He kisses my forehead. My head is spinning and my Chest hurts along with my torso.
"Dad...Lexi...We got separated..."I manage to get out through laboured breaths. He puts the oxygen mask back over my face.
"Hey,it's okay. They'll find her,breathe."He reassures me. I get loaded into the ambulance and I wave to my dad. Somewhere along the way my head feels fuzzy and everything goes black.
