Here's an improved version of your continuation chapter:
"I assure you, Mr. Ragnarok, sir, I do not know who this Celestalon is, nor did he send me here. I was just at the wrong place at the wrong time and ended up being kidnapped by a crazy lady who led me to the temple where I found you," Ruin said shakily as fear gripped his chest.
Ragnarok snorted as his bloodlust disappeared. "You are lucky, boy. I don't sense any falsehoods in your statement."
"But Mr. Ragnarok, why didn't you just consume my consciousness in the first place? Why wait all this time? Not that I'm not grateful you didn't, I'm just curious," Ruin asked.
"You see, boy, when Celestalon was still trying to take my bloodline, he sent all kinds of people to see what would work, from those who are strong-willed or have powerful bloodlines to even the crazy ones. But they all ended up with the same fate—devoured by me. But you, I've never seen anybody like you. When I first arrived here, I tried taking over your body and consciousness, but I'm the one who ended up getting hurt as I was completely rejected. I was forced to stay in this region, which is usually where your bloodline is. This led me to wonder, if you don't have a bloodline, what was the cause of the rejection? I wanted to ask you, but you seem as clueless as I am," Ragnarok said with a confused expression, still trying to figure out Ruin's constitution.
"So, in simple terms, my body rejected you?" Ruin said.
"Yes, if you..." Ragnarok started but suddenly stopped as his face brightened. "I've got an idea!" he shouted out of the blue.
Ruin stood dumbfounded, seeing such a terrifying-looking dragon like Ragnarok jump up and down with excitement. It was a sight to behold.
"You are going to try to make use of my bloodline," Ragnarok said enthusiastically.
"Wait, I thought you didn't want anybody to use your bloodline?" Ruin asked with a quizzical expression.
"When did I ever say that? I just didn't want Celestalon to make use of it. But since you aren't one of his followers, you can use it and help me get my revenge on that idiot Celestalon," Ragnarok said, laughing maniacally, which made Ruin shudder as it looked like a scene straight out of a horror movie. "Now, shall we begin?" Ragnarok asked Ruin eagerly.
"Wait, don't I need to be awake in my body for this to work?" Ruin asked.
To which Ragnarok answered with a grin, "Definitely not. Your body already identified me as a bloodline and threw me to this place, so the hard part is over. All that remains is a trivial task." Ragnarok then ushered Ruin to come closer and place both his hands on him. "Now, boy, I'm going to be circulating bloodline energy through my body into yours. When you feel it, accept it and let it flow into every cell of your being."
As Ragnarok finished talking, Ruin could feel what he was talking about. He felt a tingle in his hands where he had touched Ragnarok, and that feeling started spreading throughout his whole body.
"Is this it? Am I finally going to get a bloodline after suffering for so..." Ruin's happy thoughts were suddenly cut short as an insurmountable pain flowed into his body, making him keel over and start coughing blood. He looked over at Ragnarok, who was not in any better condition.
"We... failed," Ruin heard Ragnarok say before he fell over and lost consciousness.
