Halloween [ Ricky Horror]

That one halloween party

"Ricky!Hurry Up!I don't want to be late!",Chris screamed at me from downstairs.

He gets his panties in a wad about everything.Hasn't he ever heard about being fashionably late.

I finished the last bit of my makeup and ran downstairs.

Chris was standing by the door,on his phone and tapping his foot.

"Bout time.", he muttered.

I rolled my eyes and picked my jacket up off the couch.

Ahh,Halloween.My favorite holiday besides Christmas.

Vinny had all invited us to this party his friend,Savannah,was throwing.

From what I've heard about Savannah was Vinny met Savannah when he was recruited to play drums in the band she was in aka The Everlasting Effect (THIS IS MY REAL BAND TO NOT TAKE THIS NAME).Her and Vinny became good friends.Well Vinny introduced Savannah to Kuza and now Kuza has the biggest crush on her.Its like unhealthy.

Chris tapped his fingers along to Last Caress by The Misfits.

"So have you met Savannah?",I asked trying to strike up conversation.I think he'd met her once before but I'm not sure.

"Yeah,a couple of times.She's um I guess you could call it morbid quirky.You'll like her."

Morbid quirky...that's new.

"From the little I've heard she sounds cool.",I smiled and turned my eyes back to the window.The orange,red and yellow trees rushed by and the full moon highlighted the baron brown limbs.

Nineteen minutes later we arrived at her house.There were six or seven other cars there.

Chris and I walked up to the door.

Chris looked at me and jerked his head towards the door.

"I'm not knocking you knock."

He gave me a look and rapped his knuckles against the door.

A moment later Vinny opened it.

"Hey.",he greeted and gave us two bro hugs.

"Where is the hostess?",Chris asked.

Vinny laughed."Kuza stole her hat and last I saw,was she was chasing him around."

Just then a short girl with a huge witches hat skipped over.Her short dark black hair stuck out from under the hat.She had on a black and white striped long sleeved shirt, a black skirt and knee high lace up boots.

"Chris!",she yelled and gave him a hug."And who is this?"

"Ricky Horror Olson.",I said.

"Well its nice to meet you Mr.Horror.",she smiled and pulled me into a hug.

I hugged back.It was a warm embrace and it made my heart skip a beat.She had the most infectious personality and her voice was that of an angels.I'd known her less than five minutes and just wow...she is gorgeous.

Okay calm ya self Ricky.

She let go."Hope to see you round but imma go find Balz and mess with him."

"See ya round.",Chris said as she skipped away."See not that bad,Rick."

"I never said I was expecting something bad."

"No but your face did.Now come on.",Chis grabbed my hand and pulled my into a crowd of people.

11:45.I'd been just hanging out with some people from The Everlasting Effect.There drummer Drake was hilarious.

Smoke break.Yeah,yeah its a bad habit.Its not like I haven't heard it forty thousand times,so get in line with the rest of them.

I found myself heading for the front porch. When I arrived there she was just sitting.I knew who she was from the oversized hat.

She turned around and gave me a toothy grin."Hey!"

"Hi.",I said kinda shyly.I sat next to her on the steps.

"I never got to tell you this but your makeup looks cool."

"Thanks.",I took out a cig and lite it."Why are you out here?I thought you'd be inside enjoying the party."

"I was but Kuza asked me out and I kinda freaked out a little.I came out here to calm down.",she fidgeted around before turning my way.Her skin glowed a pale ivory in the moonlight.Her eyes were blue but they were puffy.She'd been crying.

"Why are you crying?",I asked putting out my cigarette.

"I'm just...ugh!I like Kuza a lot but I'm just scared.I'm scared.But I also feel bad because when he asked me out I just looked at him and left.He probably thinks that I hate him now."

"I bet he doesn't!",I blurted.Damn me.

"Why do you think that?",she asked.Savannah leaned back looking up at the night sky.

"Because ever sense he met you he can't and won't stop talking about you.So march I there and tell him yes.I think you two would make a pretty sweet couple.".

Well let's see. I've just probably ruined any relationship other than the friendly one with her.

Way to go Olson!

She sat back up and gave me a confused yet cute look."Really?"

I smiled and shook me head."Yes really."

" Okay thank you so much Ricky.",She gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek.I watched as she dissapered back into the house.

"I'm gonna need another cigarette.", I muttered to myself.

When I went back in everybody had gathered round the huge TV and were watching Childs Play.

Yay my favorite!

I found a spot inbewteen Chris and Vinny.Balz,Ghost and Ryan sat on the other couch and Ryan had Allie cuddled up next to him.The everlasting effect boys;Drake,Hunter,Joe,and Tony were scattered around in the floor and tables.Yes tables. Then there was Kuza and Savannah,they were sitting in front of the couch besides Chris's legs.

Kuza had his arms wrapped around her and his lips on heres.

There goes my chance.

Well if she's happy,I'm happy.
