"Bloom have you finished playing your games" , Bloom's mother called her daughter from downstairs.

"Mom I was not playing games" , the teen replied in a voice that could reach her mother Tina, "I don't even like to do so. I was just checking if I have received any mails from my friends." she replied in the same loud tone.

"Waiting for any important one," Tina said entering her room through the open door.

She had a bit of tense expression on her face. The long brown hair girl easily detected it and even knew the reason behind. It was surely for the mail she was waiting for.

"I was just checking if anyone has received any case to tell me." she said even though she knew her mom had a clear cut doubt about that.

"You and your cases!" Tina complained.

She was quiet for few minutes seeing her daughter yet engrossed in the computer but rather the bluish eyes were constantly observing her mother's expressions.

"Why don't you take a break? Last month you had solved one," she said trying to make her daughter understand.

Tina personally didn't liked Bloom getting involved in all those police matters, specially when she had a bad experience with her husband. It wasn't that bad in a way. It was just that her husband wasn't normally with them. He always travelled from one place to another solving cases.

Being a very well known lawyer his daughter was too much influenced by her dad even though she had least spent time with him.

"Mother how can I stop solving cases when they are in front of me," she tried explaining although it wasn't the first time she tried to do so.

"Is this not the work of the police?" Tina asked in a bit higher voice.

Just then there was a knock heard. Bloom left her angry mother upstairs and ran down to open the door.

It wasn't that she liked to hurt her mother in the way she was doing but she was too much intrested in being a detective. Her mother would just not understand. She actually cared for her daughter more then she cared about her choices.

Bloom was a bit sad about her way of responding. She noticed her mother moving downstairs and entering in the dinning room as she went to open the door.

"Who is it," Tina asked in her normal cheerfull tone.

Bloom smiled and moved forward towards the door to open it
It was Daisy, one of Bloom's friend. Her father was a police officer, the one responsible for giving Bloom cases to solve.

Daisy was exhausted. It was evident that it was because of a nice long run to Bloom's place. Surely she had something intresting to inform Bloom about.

Bloom invited her in stopping her thoughts for some while.

Tina had come to check who the visitor was as her daughter had not replied to her previous question. Daisy wished Bloom's mother as she entered.

Daisy took her seat on the cozy sofa in the leaving room.

"So what bought you here," Bloom asked when she felt daisy had calmed down or rather taken few relaxing breaths.

"Just wanted to give you some news,"

"You can tell her about it later after you have some cookies. I just made it a while ago." Tina said entering in the room with a plate full of cookies and glasses of pulpy orange juices.

"I will surely have it. Thank's aunty," Daisy smiled.

She looked at Bloom. Her expression turned to a bit serious one.
She informed Bloom about a murder which had taken place in a nearby city in New York.
