The Twin Gammas

Prologue

I'm sure we can all agree that siblings have a strong bond. They can be each other's best friend. But they can also be each other's enemy from time to time. 

 Twins, however....Their bond is very strong. Twins can be very close. Best friends. Born on the same day....Just minutes apart....The bond of twins can be stronger than the bond of normal siblings sometimes....

 This is the story of two twin brothers in the beautiful country of Italy. Marco and Luca were inseparable. Best friends. They meant the world to each other. Marco was the youngest. Luca was the eldest. Marco and Luca were the sons of Gamma Lorenzo. When they were born, it was clear they had such a strong bond. So, it was decided that they both would serve as Gamma one day.

 When the twins were born, Marco was very weak. In fact, he was not strong enough to survive on his own. The doctors placed Luca in the crib with his brother to say goodbye. But, a miracle happened. Marco survived! The strength of their bond, even from birth, was so strong. 

 Ironically, Luca grew up to be sweet, timid, and shy. Marco grew up to be confident, strong, and protective. Marco protected Luca and helped push him to more than he ever thought he could be. Luca did his best to protect his brother. But, he was more of a lover than a fighter. He was gentle and preferred talking rather than fighting. The twins were complete opposites but loved each other so much. They were so close. Inseparable. They always said, "We're stronger together!" They always said that they'd always have each other's back. Their bond was so strong, no one thought anything could break it. 

 But that's the funny thing about secrets. They can be good, sometimes. Like, a surprise party or something. But some secrets are dangerous and hurtful. They can threaten to tear apart even the strongest of bonds....

 And that is what happened to Luca and Marco Bianchi.....
