Chapter-3

Kudrat was studying for her mid term examination which was scheduled next day when her phone beeped.

She ignored it and keep on studying when it again beeped after one minute. Kudrat got irritated that who is messaging her at 11.

She checked her phone. There was two messages from some unknown number.

"Hey !! " and "I hope I am not disturbing you".

Kudrat frowned after reading those messages.

"Hun ae kehda namuna ae( now who is this namuna?)", Kudrat asked herself.

"Who is this?",She messaged and resumed her study.

After good five minutes her phone again beeped. She instantly opened the message.

"Eni cheti bhul gayi mainu. O kudiye main aa, Arjun(You forgot me so early. Oh girl its me, Arjun)", It said.

"Oh. Toh you should have told it to me earlier na. Mainu kehda sapna aauna c ke tuhaada number ae( How will I come to know that its your number)", Kudrat replied.

"Okay okay. Sorry. Khush ??", Arjun's message said.

"Leh dus ! "Kudrat texted back.

"Ki dussan?" Arjun asked.

"Kujh ni (nothing)",Kudrat smiled and texted back.

"Okay. So why are you awake till now?", Arjun asked her.

"I can ask you the same",Kudrat questioned him back.

"Areeyyyy !! I was toh doing my work",Arjun said.

"Toh I was bhi studying. I have an exam tommorow",Kudrat replied.

"Oho. Sorry for disturbing you in between your studies. You study. We will talk tomorrow",Arjun's text said.

"Yeah. Okay. Bye. Good night", Kudrat replied and kept her phone aside.

"Good night"Arjun's last text said.

She completed her revision and called it a night.

Next day passed in blink of eye. Kudrat was relaxing after end of her mid term examinations. She came to her room after helping her mother in household chores.

She was ready to sleep when her phone beeped. It was a text from Arjun.

"Hey!! Done with exams ?!",he asked.

"Hmm. Done.", Kudrat replied.

And their conversation went on and on. It was 1 a.m. when they wished each other a good night. Days rolled by and their late night talks were changing into early morning chats.

Someone truly said You can never know a person untill you have talked to them till 3 a.m.

Their conversations were all about their childhood days, their hobbies, their thoughts,their families, their college life. They had fought over numerous things in this one month.

Finally the day came when they stepped into each other's private life.

"So. We have talked about so much in last one month. But we have never talked about relationships. Do you have someone special in your life. I mean someone you like?",Arjun asked.
