Announcer: We finally had our first match out of beta mode! It was one in a lifetime literally. It was a shocking event. We thought our Soul Artist would win for sure. But that simply wasn’t the case!

The viewers only looked at the screen, unsure how they should feel.

Announcer: Now we can’t keep wasting time. Let the next game begin!

The screen showed 2 slots.

[Sonia Nee  vs  unknown ]

The unknown slot changed. The picture and name were changing like a gambling machine. There were names that Sonia knew, and some she didn’t.

Sonia: Kelly-kun! What do I do now? I’m worried. What if I lose like Aio-san?

Sonia didn’t care who she was going against; it was her survival that was more important.

Kelly: Don’t worry too much. I’m sure you will do amazing, especially since you are flexible! You will react quickly if someone like Marcus would do something to you. Just don’t give up, I'm counting on you.

Sonia smiled as her face blushed.

Sonia: Thanks for believing in me, Kelly-kun. I-I promise not to let you down!

Sonia felt much better. Kelly was her motivation.

Sonia looked back on the screen and sighed in relief it’s someone she doesn’t know.

[ Sonia Nee vs Addi Lilth ]

Announcer: The next contestants, please walk forward the golden doors.

Sonia was a little nervous still. She glanced at her opponent, who was more formal than her. Her opponent had an elegant posture and did not react as much as Sonia did.

Khase: Addi, will you be able to do it? I can talk it out with the higher-ups.

Addi: No need.

Khase lowered his head. He was always close to her; they grew together, so he knew her stubbornness. Yet he never liked that about her.

Khase: Just be careful, okay? I don’t want anything happening to you, and if something does happen I’ll try to convince the higher-ups. So just take it easy and don’t overdo it.

Addi brushed her ponytail behind her shoulder. She gave Khase a nod before walking inside the golden doors. Sonia went in, too, and the doors closed behind them.

Khase:I can’t lose you..

Khase quickly left the area. Kelly saw him. She followed him, she didn’t trust her best friend's opponent’s friend. Kelly swiftly crept up behind him and knocked him out. She wanted the round to be fair.

Kelly:May the Father bless you, Sonia.
