"In the end... we die alone."

Void.

A Dark Void.

A wrinkling distortion pulsed at the center of Sam's vision. A ripple...

Light.

Sam sees a glare of light with iridescent shining. Illuminating the dark within the emptiness.

A wrinkling distortion pulsed at the center of Sam's vision. A ripple...

And he could see people, yet they appeared like shadows- translucent figures fading into what appeared to be an ether, as Ghosts

And he could see people, yet they appeared like shadows- translucent figures fading into what appeared to be an ether, as Ghosts.

The figures were his friends, running away from something in a frantic state through a cornfield. Then, a source of dark green bokeh cascaded before his eyes, particles swirling, furthering him into another vision. Another person.

It's... a boy. A handsome boy. White. Piercing Blue eyes. Brunette curly hair that framed a charming fine smile. He's standing before Sam.
Smiling at each other. Their gazes locked.

And then... red.

A grunge red flooded the void.

Suddenly, a man stepped through the fading previous visions. Each vision vanishes like smoke caught in a breeze. The man had a little height to him, handsome, with caramel skin.

Who is he?

The darkness began to swallow Sam. He can hear screams of his own mixed with the desperate cries of girls.

Quick Flashes Flickered In His Mind:

Himself drenched in blood.

Cradling one of his dearest friends in his arms who seemed to be dead.

Then, the handsome boy, tussles with a police officer, while an older woman his grandmother, and a young adult male his uncle, flee from a vehicle.

LIGHTS. BOKEH. VORTEX. VOID. PARTICLES.

THEN!

...

...

...

A child appeared- no... a toddler, barely three years old. The toddler was... Sam.
